If you're not on the first floor get your legs ready to climb the stairs. It's a beautiful facility and you must go up and down the stairs to get refreshments during intermission. Parking downtown stinks but the underground parking put you close and we were able to find a place across the street because we got there early. All in all I love going to the Ohio Theater. Everyone was dressed for the holidays

The Ohio Theatre is a beautiful venue that has been well maintained over the years. I was fortunate to visit just after the holiday decorations had been displayed and they were lovely. A very festive atmosphere indeed.
There are plenty of friendly staff memebers to help you with your refreshments, directions and getting you to your seat. Everyone had a smile on their face. I appreciate the kindness with which I was treated.
Convenient parking available with excellent event rates. I felt very safe going from parking structure to the theatre.
I highly recommend taking in performance if you have the opportunity. A wonderful night out!

I have been here for quite a few shows Overall a good experience with helpful staff. But i'm a bit confused.. are you supposed to tip the bartender? Tonight i just ordered a Blue Moon and she just poured the can in a glass and asked me if i wanted to put her TIP on my credit card or tip in cash? I don't recall being asked about a tip any other time i've ordered a drink there. The drink prices are already high enough and the bartenders are getting paid right? Not sure why i would tip for pouring a can into a cup Hmm.. But maybe you're supposed to? Anyhow.. was weird to ask me if i wanted to add her tip to my card. Lol. Other than that.. pretty great theatre.

If you like classical music this is where the Columbus Symphony plays. I've had the chance to come here at least three times and its always a night to remember. The beautiful ornate architecture is simply breathtaking.

One of the most stunning theaters in North America. The Ohio Theater was saved from demolition in the mid 20th century and features some incredible ornate details and fixtures. The history, the sounds, and the shows can't be beat.

Saw the Little Mermaid here and it was a Greta experience. There isn't a bad seat and staff was friendly. Thought prices were reasonable.

Very nice old theater in Columbus. It has a very cool atmosphere to it inside and out. The seating is pretty ample for the date of construction. We saw the Nutcracker here at Christmas time and enjoyed it. I also liked the variation of beverages that they sold as they offered beer and wine. It is worth checking out at least once, especially if you are into older architecture like that.
