It's a nice shopping mall it's clean the people are friendly you find just about anything that you need there as far as shops go the pricing is reasonable and there's very unique shops as well so you find different types of things at this Mall Chapel Hill Mall used to be claimed as the friendliest small of them all I don't know if that's true but the people there are friendly.

While JC Pennys is the only major store open the are holding their own. Seems like they are forcing people to the West side to shop. Soon Akron will lose their stores as well as job.

Took my daughter here for a mommy daughter day out. We had a great time just walking around! We rode the carousel, enjoyed a slushy and fresh popcorn, visited Bath & Body Works, enjoyed some great food in the food court, had our pictures taken in an awesome picture booth, and rode around electronic toys throughout the mall. It was a great day!

This mall is actually still pretty and in good shape. But like many malls around the U.S., it's pretty deserted. We were there the Sunday before Thanksgiving to eat at the food court and hang out. We were surprised to see only limited food outlets still open and even fewer open on Sunday. It's not what it used to be back in the day but still a pretty decent mall if you need one. And in case you're wondering, the carousel is still running and was fun for the kids.

I've watched as this mall slowly falls JCPenny is the only anchor left, all the good shops have been replaced by "Counterfeits". Honestly if it wasn't for Spencer's, Hot Topic, Charley's and the quick service Asian food places I wouldn't be showing up here anymore So much history fading away If the carousel disappeared I won't have any words, just grief.

There isn't anything there, there are a couple stores, but you have to walk a long way through emptiness to get to the next store. No body goes there anymore and it is just a sad and depressing place. Everyone in the area used to hang out there as kids and it was just a cool place to be, now it is getting ready to close down and we will all have to drive pretty far for shopping. It's very sad.

I love the mall. It's been around since I was a child. I know businesses are shuttering and it has nothing to do with the mall. I do want the mall to stay open because everything in Akron is gone. Summit mall may have more stores but chapel hill is still the best in the area.

What a disaster. I can't believe the mall of my childhood has come to this. The anchor stores have pretty much gone. There are barely even any stores one has ever heard of there. It literally has not been updated since I was a kid (and I'm old). A mall that can't even support an Old Navy? Things have gotten pretty bad. The City of Akron (proper) continues to crumble (except for 1/3 of downtown near the university that the politicians love) and this is a prime example.

The place is desolate and sad. I've been going here my entire life, but its going down the same path that Rolling Acres mall did, for much of the same reasons. With JC Penney being the only anchor store left, I feel this mall's days are truly numbered

This place recently went bankrupt if that gives you an idea of their offerings. I used to come here during middle school because that's the kind of stores that they have (except for Victorias Secret, that place is still worth it). Summit mall is better in all ways

Love to check out the cool unique items they stock here. They make lovely gifts. Some of these treasures I've never seen anywhere else. And their olives are the best.

Counted 18 empty store fronts the last time I visited. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Fun animal rides. Hoping for some more stores to move in. Clean. JC Penney, Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle are the stores I frequent.
