Highly recommend. I've trusted Hometown Vet and their staff with all of my pets and would never go anywhere but here. They are fast and efficient which is wonderful for cats, and anxious pets. They give comprehensive information about issues, medication, and have very fair pricing.

I have been with Dr Pugh and his wonderful staff for years I totally trust my pets in his care because I know it is the best! He takes time to explain the reasons for everything before he leaves the room and that is great. You feel more comfortable in knowing your pets are in good care there

They took great care of our cat Bailey. She had an overnight stay and a major procedure. They cut her nails for us while she was sedated and even sent us home with a carrier to borrow. They kept us well informed of her status during her stay and very patient with the many questions we asked before we went home and even days after. Promptly returns calls. It is very clean and comfortable environment. Great early open times and later hrs too for those of us who work late. You can drop your pet off early and pick them up later if needed. If you have a dogthey even have free dog treats for them. We have been taking Bailey here now for about 4 yrs and am very pleased. They do all they can to make your vet appointment convenient for your schedule. 5 stars for sure!

We just had our first experience at this clinic. The office is clean and the office staff is very friendly. Dr. Pugh and Emily, Vet Tech, answered all our questions and were very helpful. I'm glad we finally found a vet we are comfortable with.

Very friendly employees! I never had cause to be doubtful or upset with this vet location. They are fast and efficient, and wow the prices are very fair! They also don't attempt to persuade you to buy as many products as possible. They will make necessary recommendations and do what is needed after seeing your furry friend, nothing pushy. So far I brought two kitties over, one to be spayed and the other for a check up. I got my spayed cat the next day in crate and ready, while I was speaking with the front counter lady they sneakily slipped the cat right behind me in a matter of moments.
The cat that had the check up was quickly diagnosed, treated, and on his way to feeling better. They gave me a personal phone call a week later to check on his progress and ask if he's doing better. These people genuinely care about your pets.
They also offered a free check up on the spayed cat a week later to make sure she is alright after me voicing concern. Don't worry she's fine, and they knew she would be fine, but it was the thought that counts by checking her anyway.
This is one of only three locations in Ohio that fixes and spays animals for a tremendous discount during the spring (if you qualify) (S.N.A.P), furthering my faith this place is more for the animals rather than the green paper.
I will be making this my go to vet, and I highly recommend making a visit to this service.

Love love love these vets and support staff. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. Many times Dr Pugh extended the life of my Jack Russell. Dr Alison is so nice and answers all your questions. You never feel rushed by anyone.

The best vet in stark county! Staff was so kind friendly and knows their stuff. Have had many of pets for years never had a vet clinic like this ever!!!!! Dr.Pugh was great kind and very friendly to our new puppy!! Will tell everyone who needs a vet!!

The more we deal with Hometown, the more we like them. They are great at keeping communication going to remind us of appointments, suggest alternate routes during road construction, etc. Theirs is a great staff who clearly love their jobs and work hard to make the visit to the vet a pleasurable experience for both your pet and you.
