The website said this hotel was "newly renovated". Not sure what they meant by "newly" because our room, hallway and elevator were old, dingy, worn. Lobby area was nice. All the newer Hyatt Places we've stayed had queen sized beds so we were surprised to see double beds. Extremely small double beds! Poor water pressure. Breakfast was great. The people who work there are super nice, as with every other Hyatt Place property we're stayed at. The market, room service and bar are convenient. Bathroom set up is nice with sink and large counter outside the shower/toilet room. Rooms were quiet. Nothing within walking distance of property (restaurants). It was fine for an overnight stay.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was easy to find and there was ample parking. The free internet was fast, and they have a good business center. The worst part is the sound. The doors are very thin so you can hear door closings, and people's conversation in the hallways. They can also hear you in the room.

Very quiet and in a perfect location to Cleveland downtown and the Hard Rock Casino! Whenever I travel the Hyatt Place is my first choice because the room size is amazing for the cost of stay! They never fall short on the free hot breakfast, cleanliness and just overall customer satisfaction!

Night maintenance personnel should be a little less hanging out at front counter.
Need more adequate seating for the morning breakfast as well. Stayed at Hyatt in Grand Rapids Mi and think the one in Independence Oh should visit Michigan and take some pointers in housekeeping of the rooms bathrooms. Attention to the corners of shower is needed

Desk staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room smelled a little strange but not offensively so, and I didn't notice it after a few minutes. There was a hair on my pillow before I ever touched the bed, but it seemed more like it was from the person who made the bed rather than an unclean room. The connections for the TV are a great idea but I didn't see anything on the website about needing to bring an HDMI cable and the desk didn't mention it. I didn't call down to see if they offered them because I didn't feel like going back down to the desk once I realized the situation. The outlet on the wall behind the shelves under the TV was missing the cover (but obviously that's pretty minor). The bed was comfy and even though I could hear people in their rooms while I was in the hall, I couldn't hear them once I was inside. I wish there had been more options for room service, but the desk did provide me with a list of area restaurants and delivery options. I didn't use the pool or workout room so I can't speak to those. Overall a pretty pleasant stay.

Hotel and room were clean and we'll maintained. The indoor pool was spacious with many chairs available. Breakfast was busy and we had to wait for clean forks and cups to be brought out.

this hotel was great, have comfy beds a good area of space and one of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen. the works there are kind and hard working. (I had the room service it was fast)

Easy to find/convenient location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was at capacity when we stayed but all guests were courteous. Clean rooms and nice breakfast service. Would stay again.

Location is very convenient right next to interstate 77 and ten minutes away from Cuyahoga national Park and the scenic train ride. staff was very friendly throughout the stay. Breakfast is free and a good selection of fruit and some other American breakfast items. Rooms are comfy and clean, exercise equipment is in good shape and overall appearance of hotel is in well kept condition. There is a bar and food which I did not try. Overall a positive experience.

In my limited experience attending a professional event, I've been surprised and pleased by the cleanliness of both the inside and outside of the hotel, and the modern and stylish decor.

The room was a larger than expected suite style room and overall it was pretty nice. They have a rotation for breakfast food, too so if you stay multiple days you probably won't eat the exact same breakfast for all the days. The location was not too far out and the staff were nice. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Hotel was very nice on the surface. Modern rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds. But some of the good was lost in the details. Stained pillows on the couch, water spots on the ceiling, stains in the tub. But overall a positive experience and would be willing to try again.

Horrible. I stayed there for a friends birthday party. I gave them a room key and told them to meet me there. the staff would not tell them what room i was in and took their key away. finally they escorted them up to my room and everything seemed to go well from there. the next day i was still intoxicated and wanted to stay another night and they would not let me. they ordered me to leave. i asked if it would be ok to sleep in my car they said no i had to leave. i went down the street to sleep it off and they called the police on me resulting in a dui
