Was transferred here after suffering a heart attack. Very professional staff took care of me for 16 days as I recovered from an infection and subsequent triple bypass surgery. Nurses are very sweet, doctors are highly professional. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is excellent, too! Would recommend to all in need of care

I took my mother to the Emergency room at Presby Main. After wheeling her in and getting checked in, I went to rush and park my car. The parking attendant made me go all the way around to the main parking deck. THERE WAS AT LEAST 25 OPEN SPOTS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM PARKING LOT!!!!! Makes ZERO sense!!! What’s the point of an emergency room parking lot if they don’t allow people to use it?!? So it took me 20 minutes to circle around and climb up 4 stories in the deck. Then walk through the entire hospital to get back to the emergency room. You would think that they would be considerate enough to allow people coming in with a real emergency to use the parking lot next to the emergency room entrance.

During the time of a friends death the Hospital treated my friend with disrespect and didn't make him comfortable only because he was gay; at least this is my opinion. I also use to have a friend that worked there and after 4 years of hard work and dedication they fired him for no reasoning and he was gay I STAND FOR LGBTQ! I also found that the cafeteria staff was much nicer and friendly, and they work under an entire different company. What a JOKE! I use Carolinas Medical Center any day I would never be apart of the Presbyterian Hospital or its services!

Was there to get CRT-ICD. The staff was so very attentive, caring and helpful. I not only felt important but actually felt I was important to each individual. Thanks to each nurse, doctor and staff member.

Great nurses. Labor and delivery wing is a great facility. Love the security even if it’s time consuming and seems overly extensive. All the staff are helpful. I hate that you have to pay to park in the garage! But if you leave late enough, you can get out for free :)

If the rating system allowed for a zero grade that is what I would given. I have been in a room waiting on a physician or nurse to kindly be patient. No one, it one hour and counting. 10/25 /17

My 88 year old Mother was brought to the ER at Novant Presybterian and seen immediately by Dr. Richard Bock, a vascular surgeon. She was in surgery within the hour. His ability to communicate with my Mother ,who was in terrible pain ,was reassuring to her as well as my family. Her care in the ICU and critical care was amazing. Each and every nurse was compassionate and sincerely concerned about her comfort. Her CNA Kyle brought smiles all 12 hours of his shift, even washing her hair with a "magic cap" as my mother described it. Her care was outstanding.

Don't go to the emergency room. A rest stop bathroom knife job from a hobo is quicker and at least he will smile while he does it. I was 7 months pregnant and they diagnosed me with pregnancy as though I had no idea. My husband has herniated discs bulging from his back and they told him he had a pulled muscle that he should calm down and stop over reacting. He hasn't been able to walk for three days so they doped him up on a cocktail of drugs when he isn't even used to aspirin. We went for help and got treated like pill heads. I'd rather due than be humiliated like that again. They outright degraded us.

One of the worse experiences in my life. I was made to sit in piss and puke for the entire day. They would NOT help me clean up after they gave me a pain killer after hip revision surgery that obviously I was allergic to. Doctor Brian Curtain preformed an experimental procedure while I was under and was never informed I would be responsible to pay for it. I would never had been in agreement to any of that! The surgery did not go well and I'm in just as much pain as before the surgery so nothing changed except the 57k he got for the surgery and still they are demanding the payment for his Experimental procedure which insurance refuses to pay for. I did ask the hospital, the doctor and Blue Cross before the surgery and they told me the total I'd have to pay which I paid. No one said anything about experimental procedures that I would have to pay for. NO ONE! I would highly recommend to find someone else and some place else for your healthcare needs They also extort money from you by twisting it around to show it's the doctor bill and then when you question it they switch it to the hospital bill. It's sickening, beware!

Like the DMV of emergency rooms, I go to emergency rooms quite frequently and have never had to wait longer then 30 min longest an hour maybe. I've never in my life seem an emergency room this packed. I wish there was a way to post the photos because it's ridiculous. The staff on top of that is very arrogant and rude. I understand people can be frustrating but patience is something you need in this field especially. It's been 3 hours now and no has called us back in, I don't even want to know how long we have to wait once we are actually sent in. My husband is currently in severe pain right now, this is definitely not an ER at all, if you're having some kind of emergency do not be expected to be treated by them immediately expect to wait a VERY VERY long time. I didn't even bother asking how much longer because I know the staff would just tell me to sit down or that "it is what it is." You're better off going to an urgent care I've seen 3 people leave so far because of the wait time. And the nurses laugh and snicker about it afterwards. Not a great place to be right now.

I have dealt with Dr. Brown since my 1988. I have never been so mistreated by any member of the medical profession in my life as I have with his current staff. Dr. Rhett Brown has excellent bed side manner; someone should teach his staff to Follow-The-Leader and talk to his patients with a little more dignity. The staff's phone manners are as Ghetto as you can get. Sorry to Dr. Brown for being surrounded by such negative people. I'll keep you in my prayers brother.

The nurses and delivery staff were amazing! As a new mom, I had no idea what to do during labor and after. They were very understanding and helped my husband and I through the whole process, including how to change a diaper. So grateful to have had our little boy here.

I want to STRESS how great the staff is on the cardiovascular unit at Presbyterian hospital are! The respiratory team AWESOME!! i have never experienced a team so genuine and caring and just on point ! I was there with my son whom suffers with lupus and he stated to me that they made him feel better just being there and for someone who is constantly in and out of the hospital, it means a lot coming from him. As a mom it made it confronting for me when i stepped away, to know he was in good hands! Doris, Dave, and Ryan the empathy that they showed and gave us was amazing ! I mean care you just do not receive anymore we got it with these guys! They are great assets to this Team ! Bravo to you guys!
