Helen Hayes is the best in rehabilitation. Their staff are very professional, caring and helpful The place is very clean..Helen Hayes is the best!
I brought a patient into this facility and was amazed by how clean, modern, and friendly the facility and staff were.
Got a ticket for Parking on the side of the building to pick up my dad for a special occasion in a wheelchair and oxygen tank by some Rent a Cop with a very poor attitude and having no empathy or consideration. I even called twice for his supervisor to rectify- he had the same negative attitude. Was told to work it out with the ticketing agent. WOW -I was completely taken back by that comment .How does a person in MGMT not take the responsibility in trying to resolve the issue?? Poor MGMT training skills. Its not about the $30.00 fine
IT`S THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SITUATION.
Anyway, now that its off my chest..
This is one of the best places in NY state for rehab, 5 star reviews for all the nurses and support teams for the patients. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Great Care and Support. 5 STAR !
Someone in upper management in that facility should get involved in teaching both parking lot agents and supervisor how to be more Empathetic!
The worst place for ambullete drivers!
When ever I drop off or pickup someone I get a different nasty attitude! From security, front desk, etc.
I received the greatest of care from the entire staff after my total knee replacement in April 2017. Dr. Holland was amazing with his care and management of my needs at every turn. The PT department got me walking and bending that sore knee with kindness and understanding and persistence. The entire nursing staff was attentive and prompt in every request I had and I had a lot of requests !!!! In deepest gratitude to an outstanding cast of health care workers, Cathleen Dowd
Number one priority patients care
The place is clean, professional and supportive.
All staff members go above and beyond to help the families .
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.
Unhelpful and rude front desk staff. Her solution? Call security and his supervisor rather than provide clear instructions to first time visitors from out of state!
My recommendation? Seek your rehab at Kessler in NJ!!!!
Zero customer service from the staff.I wanted to make a complaint about the billing department and the Office of the Attorney general.I spoke with the staff who was rude and unhelpful. Then i spoke Francine s. Kaplan who made excuses for the staff and was even ruder.I asked to speak with Francine's boss or supervisor who she wouldn't provide me with. This is very bad for the Helen Hayes overall. The people at the desk also tried to get information and nobody could or would help them. How is it that a hospital this large has nobody to take on customer complaints. The way they handled the complaint is to have a security officer talk to me and tell me that there is nobody to help me and to come home and write a review .WHAT A JOKE
I went to this hospital after having surgery on my hip and being involved in a serious car accident. I was nervous to go. However, upon arrival, I was treated with the respect and care I desperately wanted. The nurses here are extremely attentive and caring to your needs, as well as the aides. The doctors are phenomenal and don't judge and are there to help you and do their very best to get you to be physically your best. The food was excellent for a hospital-rehabilitation facility, the physical therapy, occupational therapy fantastic! Joe and Connie were fantastic people, as well as the doctors who are on top of you and want to get you well as soon as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone needing rehabilitation. World Class in my opinion! Thank You for sending me onto my merry way into recovery Helen Hayes!
