They sent bills to collections on me while they were waiting for insurance to finish processing. For one of them, when I called to sort out the issue they said they put in a request to have it removed. 3 weeks later they call and say the claim finished processing through my insurance and I owed over $600. I set up a payment plan, make 2 of the monthly payments before I find out they lied to me about the claim being processed and had me paying money I didn't owe. Then they said they owed me money back, its been weeks and they still haven't refunded me. No one ever knows what's happening with my bills when I call and I get zero explanation as to why the bills are being sent to collections while they're waiting to go through insurance.

Best staff in the ER ive ever had! They were AMAZING. I was in so much pain but they managed to make me laugh and put a smile on my face the whole time

My son was taken to NCMC for Type 1 Diabetic problems and people he was with even told the hospital he was type 1. He has been there long time ago and they should of had in there system. The nurse didn't hook him up to blood pressure or liquids to help a diabetic. He was throwing up constantly. The nurse and 2-3 security guards were pounding/they called rubbing his chest to alert him so badly they pounded the skin off of his chest on 11/14 and on 11/15 it is all scabbed over about 3 inches. I would not be surprised if ribs are cracked. Forget about trying to get him alert, how about trying to BREAK RIBS! It is suppose to be a hospital, to help people. They don't know if he's a diabetic? How about letting his mother in the room- I bet she could tell you, since he's been diabetic since 8 years old. Give him some fluids or something to stop the vomiting. You don't have to be a DOCTOR to figure that out. My son requested to be transported somewhere else, didn't happen. Requested to be discharged. Finally when he mentioned a lawyer they said he could be discharged to his mother since she would be driving if I would drive around . They were not even going to bring out his belongings and some of that was missing. Not sure you would want Security Guards treating you as a patient. I believe my son has a case in many ways.

Full service hospital and associated health services in one campus. Parking can be difficult at times. A Banner Health facility. Excellent pathology department. Mental health staff are less than competent.

They deserve lower than 1 star. Wife is having complications with a surgery, their answer in the ER is to follow up with the specialist on Monday. This happens on Friday. My wife is sent home in severe pain and we still have no answers. The next day we get the follow up call to see how your doing, and we explain 0 change still on servere pain ect and she says well dont come back to the ER because they are not going to do anything. I have never seen anywhere as useless in my entire life.

The worst experience EVER!!! They discovered my mom has a mass in her lung and a biopsy needed to be performed to determine if it was cancerous. She showed up for her appointment after lots of anxiety awaiting her appointment only to find out she was not on the schedule!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! It may only be a job to you but you are dealing with people's lives!!!!! Go to UC Health or somewhere but not here!!!!!!

We have been going to Summit View to have my sons blood drawn every 2-3 weeks since he was born, and he's now 4 1/2 years old. In the beginning it was great, all the staff knew him, knew what to draw, and it was like clockwork. The last few months have been everything but that, constant staff turn over, waiting 30-45 minutes for a blood draw, etc. Yesterday was by far the worst experience. We waited 45 minutes (and he has to fast for this test), and when we finally went back, the young lady didn't have a clue what to do. She looked up the test, and stated she didn't have the right color tube, and we would have to go to main campus. I explained to her which tube she needed and she said they're sending to a different lab than before (even tho the order from Children's states it has to go to Mayo), and I said, yes last time they drew him they sent it to quest which is their new send out lab. We had no problems two weeks before, and she refused, told us to go to main. When I called Main Campus, the told me to call back between normal business hours to see if they could help. How frustrating! So when we finally arrived at a UCHealth lab, after my poor son hadn't eaten all morning, they were fantastic and drew him immediately. Sad to say after 4 1/2 years, we'll never be returning to Summit View!

My first surgery in Colorado was here and I had a pleasant experience. This review does not reflect on outpatient surgeries.
Last week I was taken to this hospital by ambulancethis ER was horrible. Like other reviews have repeatedly mentioned before mine. I highly advise people to go to another ER if you have the choice. I am pursuing a lawsuit against them.response / report this review -

First time ever having a surgery and i just want to say i am very glad it was here! The nurses were very nice!! I was very terrified before going into surgery but have to say one of the OP nurses there i believe her name is Cindy was so nice she new i was scared and she was nice enough to give me a little pep talk while in recovery Janelle RN in Phase 1 was so nice!!! I don't remember much but i do remember her trying to keep me awake and having a little conversation about the procedure i had just gotten and remember crying and her being very nice trying to calm me down then there was Shaina RN in phase 2 also being very nice!!. all in all i just want to say Thank You to the staff for being so nice and being so good at what they do they are are excellent caregivers!!!! Thank You!! 😊

The staff on the 4th floor were amazing! Dr's, RN's,CNA's everyone! My aunt is very impressed. I would highly recommend this facility to any one!

I was at this hospital in 2011, for 14 days,they placed a Stent in my heart, I also had pneumonia. At the time I had no insurance. I am still deeply grateful for the help I received. Since then, through hard work, I lost 145lbs and quit smoking. Thank you ncmc, for helping me when I had nobody else to help. Forever, grateful.

I was robbed and shot in the chest in 1997 and the bullet is still over my left lung, leaving me in constant pain these people could not give me any kind of answer for my terrible non-stop pain that keeps me from being able to sleep at all. They may as well have left me to die.

Everybody at North Colorado medical center treated me extremely professionally. They are very caring. All of my nurses and CNA's did a fantastic job taking care of me.

Compliments to the staff here! I can appreciate hard work in a job that I know isn't easy. The nurses made my family and I comfortable during our stay in iCU and cared so well for my father in law. Kudos on a job well done!
