Brought a large number of guests from Japan for a casual business dinner. It was just right. The wine list deserves a special callout, as does Jeffrey, who did an outstanding job of helping us select an enjoyable, yet reasonably priced, selection of wines for the evening. The interior and atmosphere are "business casual" but entirely enjoyable for couples and those wanting to spend a nice evening out with friends. The food was very good, although the 40 oz. Porterhouse was a bit on the dry side and definitely more than two people can eat. Three out of four of the desserts we ordered were sold out, but they were kind enough to bring other desserts to the table at no charge.

Impeccable service and great food! This place is like a well oiled machine in terms of service and the fact that tipping is already included is fantasticI applaud restaurants like this that try and commit to it.

Went for brunch. Food was great. Service was friendly, attentive and casual. I can see the place being a neighborhood standard. But like the neighborhood, too rich for my blood.

We had the steak frites with duck fat fries and potato aligot. The food came out quickly. The steak okay but everything else was very good. Best fries I have ever had and the potatoes were incredible. For dessert, we had the honey brioche with olive oil ice cream. I've never had anything quite like it. Amazing! We both thought the wait staff left something to be desired. They seemed rather up tight and not genuine. Still a good experience but might not go back considering the many options in New York.

No-tip policy is awesome. Hospitality included is the way to go. I still got outstanding service and the food was very very good. I will definitely make it a point to come back here. I'm going to try out some of Meyer's other restaurants as I really dig his concept.

The people at North End Grill are just so incredibly nice. Everybody there makes it a point to know the names and likes of regular customers, and they knock themselves out to say hi and make sure you have a great meal or snack. The food is miles above the rest of the neighborhood choices. I love sitting at the counter by the open-fire grills, or sitting at the bar to chat with David, Adrian and the rest of the crew. It's a very special, welcoming place.

Wonderful, seasonal menu. The scotch collection is very impressive, and the post-meal coffee and espresso is to die for. I had every course..appetizers, entrées, desert, drinks..it's a wonderful restaurant. You really can't go wrong in a Danny Meyer restaurant.

Tips included. But, how do you feel about KID-SIZE-FRENCH-FRIES priced $15? This journey we dine in more than five same upscale restaurant nearby, they charged 4-7! Cake, very small portion, charged $14. Neighbor five star Conrad hotel's Atrio charged $10-11 for more portion cakes/dessert, same experience at other high-scale restaurant. The rhubarb cake colored pink is really really bad. Opera cake mediocre. Repeat: portion very small. And since it is before 17:30, we didn't get the chance to dine in the dinning room, which looks like good deco. If we have it might could make the money spent more valuable.

Very dependable food and service. Recently transitioned to a no tip policy (though menu prices went up) but quality of service is still quite high.

It's a great place for brunch as prices are pretty reasonable though it feels quite fancy. Have ordered over a dozen things off the menu over the years (menu changes slowly) and not found anything disappointing, though portion sizes and satiety vary from dish to dish, so ask your server for their thoughts if you're hungry.

Oh, and the side of bacon at brunch is very thick and quite generous. Almost Wolfgang's quality. Definitely get the bacon!
