Sazon is great upscale Puerto Rican restaurant. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and I called ahead to check on accessibility. When I got there they set a ramp so I can make up the front steps and had a table ready that I could easily access. We had the surullos filled with cheese as an appetizer and the Mofongo as our main meal. They were both super delicious! My girlfriend and I will be definitely returning to this place.

Really nice place but they dis not have avocados, therefore plate that involved avocado as ingredient not available! Not nice!

Empanadas and Sangria at happy hour Both of these are a must try at this location. The Friday night seen is nice as well, with a dance floor on the bottom level.

I NEVER do reviews because I usually don't care enough to write about my experience. However, this place was SO AMAZING I have to give a review. The food was absolutely fantastic (coming from someone who eats Spanish food all the time). My family of 13 people all shared each others dishes because EVERYTHING was yummy. The service was also absolutely wonderful. Hands down the BEST Puerto Rican food ever!!! This was a true gem in Manhattan.

This restaurant has fallen apart. It was once a place you'd be proud to visit and take your family and friends to eat. But No more! I wish I knew what I'm going to tell you before I planned my birthday there. First, when I called to make reservations, they sent me two prix-fixe menus. I chose neither, preferring to order a la carte. I made my reservation and that was clearly stated. Yet, upon arrival at the tables, the prix-fixe menus were all set up at our seats. We argued with the staff that we had not requested this and wanted the menus. They did not grant our request. The restaurant was sweltering hot and I was extremely uncomfortable. I wish we'd have left right there. But, sadly we stayed. We couldn't even order the appetizers we wanted. They just brought out platters of burnt appetizer food we didn't select. I mean BURNT - dry and flavorless. There was plenty of dried burnt pork on the platter. I don't eat pork - so that went to waste. I love calamari and was happy to bite into a nice piece of that, realizing that there was shrimp mixed in with the calamari. I'm extremely allergic to shrimp. I had to spit it out in front of my guests. I was embarrassed. Then I felt a burning sensation on my mouth and around it. Around my mouth had turned bright red and that area started to swell. I was sweating profusely but a nice cold glass of water was no where to be found. This was the night of no bus boys - I really mean NONE. The waiters had a garaunteed 20% tip with the prix-fixe menu so they abandoned my table. They knew they'd be paid regardless. I begged the staff repeatedly to turn on the a.c. I heard one lie after another. By the time my main course came, I didn't want it. In fact, I couldn't wait to escape that sweltering hot Pandora's box. The food was sub par. Its really fallen off. The service was TERRIBLE. The truth is that motor for the A.C. was broken. The bathroom was completely low class and outdated. The public urinals are in better conditions. Of course, my husband and I both got sick from the food. I mean our stomachs were torn up. Don't waste your moneyor your time.

We love it! The best polite kind waiter on Mothers Day. We came with 2 small children and we were treated very professional. Best of all, the food is super delicious. We are looking forward to going back. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND. GREAT PLACE!!!

Great food and for the price is reasonable since the portions are large. Wonderful place that brings the Hispanic vibe not only through the food, but also through the atmosphere with the music.

I can't really recommend the food. Visited the location quite a few times and while the menu looks nice the actual dishes leaves a lot to be desired. The service is nice and coming for drinks is always fun.

Wonderful atmosphere. Use to love going here for happy hours but the price has gone up for the mojito, $6 to $8. Yes I know, not a big jump but now the drinks are not as strong either. So basically paying more for less. On another note Tiffany the bartender is WONDERFUL.
