Had a big group come. They insisted we do the chef’s menu where they select. Told them we had a mushroom allergy. They brought out a mushroom appetizer and a mushroom paella.

Spent a grand for a dinner I couldn’t eat.

Wine list was good. That’s why they get two stars.

The menu of this Spanish restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes served by helpful and knowledgeable staff. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of stylish food. The chefs take great care in selecting quality ingredients. both indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Had dinner here the other night and food was good, but a little skimp and pricey. We had the Jamon Iberico, the pork belly, anchovies, duck breast, grilled octopus and finished off with the small paella. It was great for them to be able to accommodate a party of three by providing an additional serving (at an additional cost) so we didn't have to try and split two pieces in three portions. Others in my party thought the pork belly could stand out more in that dish. Great selection of wine and house wines that came in more than one variety and either in glasses, carafes, or full bottles.

The food was delicious (especially the seafood dishes and the paella), and the staff and atmosphere were fantastic. One thing I really liked was that the staff were very keen to ask about any food allergies, which was refreshing to me as someone with a shellfish allergy.

It's pricey, but I would definitely recommend the chef's tasting menu. Good wine, too.

Had happy hour dinner here on a Tuesday. Service was a bit slow for it not being too busy, red wine was overly chilled, and one of my oysters was mangled. The server was very polite, and the tortilla was tasty, so not a total fall. Perhaps I caught them on an off night.

Last night at Tertulia was a blast !!!
All from the Blackboard specials are a must.
In the pic is one of them , followed by beef tartar with pistachios was amazing
As well as the Main Mussels, wow , best ever.
Thank you guys for such honest , fresh , delicious food

A wonderful accident. I spent some time waiting for my wife at some local bars and by the time she arrived I needed to eat BADLY. We went into this gem of a place and immediately went for the steak to share which is easily big enough AND the best steak we've ever had! There wasn't a price listed which turned out to be over $70 if I remember correctly. I also think they get their meat from Ottomanelli's! Also, It took a long time to come outTOTALLY worth it. The service was so perfect, they were so nice and grinned when we ordered the steak as if they knew it would blow our socks off. I'm a steak snob and don't expect much from eating out for steak. This is the new standard I'm trying to beat at home now however I will gladly be visiting Tertulia again to take advantage of the great skill that goes into this meal. We just hope it's something we can continue to expect!

The first thing that caught my attention about Tertulia is the amazing atmosphere. It takes you away to a small cafe in the heart of NYC. The aromas and open kitchen add to the anticipation of a delicious meal. Everything about this quant little cafe is worthy of all five stars. From the chefs story, to his generosity and humble character, to the food, and the excellent service. I will be returning again and again.

Tertuli hosted a group of 9 of us. The service was incredible and the food was even better. Our servers took the time to explain each dish in detail and everything was perfect! We have had tapas in several cities around the world and we all agree that this was one of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend!

After seeing the hilariously tiny/overpriced appetizer, we kindly cancelled our orders. It was a $7 plate with a square inch piece of cold pork placed in the center. We felt as though our intelligence was insulted. We were much more polite about it than the openly angry people working there. Our waiter and the hostess/manager were the opposite of apologetic, telling us that we would be wasting the food if we didn't stay and pay them their ridiculous prices. I can't even believe I still tipped the waiter $1 after such an uncomfortable experience.

Amazing taste and creative presentation of food! Staff was so considerate and friendly with a laid back vibe. The ambience was perfect for a group of friends and elegant while still creating a vibrant charm.

Food, service, drinks and atmosphere were great! But unfortunately I got food poisoning from this place, would definitely not go back after that. It's a shame because this place was really nice.

This restaurant is aging beautifully. The food is still top notch. They use the wood fired oven to the perfect effect. Food comes out smokey without being overpowered. Lunch is quiet and affordable.
