Really cool restaurant. The atmosphere was awesome, caught myself having to take a look around because of the great bar, patio, and other lounging areas. The reason I gave this a 1 star was based on the extreme disappointment in the drinks and food I received. Might be a good idea for the restaurant to look for a new head chef.
I really like this restaurant, primarily for the space. It had all these little alcoves and spots to gather, great drinks with a usually a few good taps, good wine list, good cocktails. Mediterranean food is good as well. It's not the best at anything, but a unique place to take friends or visitors, to gather with a group. Lots of space and decent quality and selection.
Beautiful picturesque restaurant with multiple dining areas. The staff was courteous and attentive. The food was delicious and the selection from the brunch menu was good and affordable, with options even a vegetarian could enjoy.
This is a gem for Brunch! Probably the best service I've ever had at that time of day. Excellent menu focused around eggs. Great fresh juices and coffee. I love how beautiful this restaurant is from the inside.
It's popular, but if you line up a few minutes before 11am on the weekend, you're almost certain to get a seat with your group. (Everyone needs to be there to be seated though!)
The decor is their best quality, the food is probably their worst. In a wide range of dishes the table received the hash brown stood out as one of the worst I've ever tasted. As mentioned, the decor is The Park's best quality, but the crowd of leaves that fell from the vine-draped ceiling was a harbinger of worse gifts. Beyond the foliage, which continued to drop throughout the meal, there was actual bird poo that I saw hit the table donuts and drop into a cup of water. The experience accounted for one of the more putrid I've seen while eating.
The waiter was definitely below average and after a concerted effort, I lost count of the number of stains on his shirt.
I would recommend the place for cocktail / drink though! Just go somewhere else for dinner. :)
Great brunch spot in beautiful Chelsea. No better way to spend a Sunday than with some French Toast with Mascarpone &
Maple-Vanilla Syrup and a stroll around Chelsea and perhaps down the high-line. The restaurant setting is beautiful and the food/drinks are on point.
I was disappointed in the service at The Park. My friend ordered a burger well done. The waitress took the burger back with a sigh of "this is the second time they've done this." In fact 3 of the 4 burgers ordered were undercooked the first time they came out. They brought them back out but my friend's burger was still too pink to even be close to well done. At this point my friend gave up on the burger but all management offered to do was take her order off the bill and give her free calamari which of course is not a substantial meal. Unacceptable to us because my friend still went home hungry! All-in-all I didn't appreciate the manager's apathy toward our situation and I think it could have been handled better. The atmosphere was nice, but it wasn't worth the headache.
I came for brunch here with a friend and the food was good. They had a delicious white sangria!! The garden is beautiful, they had great service and let us stay sometime to chat after we were done eating. We did not feel rushed at all.
If your goal is to relax at a fun, and laid back location then you are at the right spot.
Very cool atmosphere, with a variety of places to hang out depending on your mood. The drinks are good with some standouts, and otherwise general options, and the food is surprisingly tasty.
Give their brunch a try, or just pop in for drinks. One thing to note is that sometimes the service is a little slow/or scattered, but if you are just relaxing it shouldn't matter too much.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this place! Literally the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. The atmosphere is amazing. The music is LIT, the bar(s) are poppin' and the seating is unmatched. There are two levels and more than 4 rooms with different music and vibes. Upper level plays usually hip-hop/pop. Downstairs is usually more chill and relaxing. Lots of people chill on the tree like chairs and embrace the well-lit trees creating a perfect ambiance. You can literally do dinner and bar/club all in one place. Hands down, one of the best places to be in meat packing district!
This place is fun and the atmosphere is beautiful. However, the originally wouldn't let my friend in even though she had her proper ID. The lighting is awesome around the trees and the natural feel of the plants, etc. is a nice touch. It feels sort of magical. The upstairs is usually supposed to open at 12 but it opened late the night I came. The music was fine. The upstairs outdoors area is heated which is nice when it is cold. Coat check is $4 so be prepared with cash.
We enjoyed our unique experience at The Park, a factory-turned-garden type restaurant just off the High Line. From the warmth of the fireplace to the unique, comfortable decorations, the restaurant is well-appointed and comfortable. We came for brunch, and the food and drinks were excellent and affordable. They do not serve omelettes, but they prepared my eggs exactly as ordered, and will combine ingredients in a way that you request. Overall, a unique and enjoyable brunch experience - we will be back.
This place is huge. Restaurant, club, multiple bars and rooftop, it's got it all and you feel like you are in a park in some of the sections of the restaurant. I ordered the Classic Park Burger with bacon medium rare and fries and it was ok. The burger came on an English Muffin too. I hear the pizza is very good, but have not tried. The service is good and I suggest eating dinner here so you don't have to wait in line for the upstairs bar/rooftop.
Amazing garden and fireplace. The whole ambiance, decor and feel of the place is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a last minute decision to have our birthday party here and it was the best decision. Dance floor opened at 10.30 and it was the perfect mix, we didn't have to leave one place to go to another one for dancing. The manager made sure we got our cake at the dance floor so our friends could sing to us. Everything was perfect and even though we left a mess because we were partying they were there every second to clean and help us with anything. Thank you for the best birthday party
