Season pass is a great value if you catch the buy 3 get 1 free deal. Thoroughly enjoyed the additional penguin and behind the scenes encounters. The Frog Bog play place for the little ones to burn energy coupled with a reasonable priced cafe makes this a great day trip with small children. Easily wheelchair and stroller accessible. Plenty of hands on activities and knowledgeable employees scattered throughout to answer questions. Open 365 days a year.

A complete joy! I have been to Newport Aquarium with my children and grandchildren and enjoy it more each time we go. Thank you so much for the wonderful staff and creatures. Today I touched a stingray for the first time. I screamed of course, but it was a big step for me.

This is a great place to go, especially in cold or rainy weather when you don't want to be outdoors with kids. I'm in here at least once a week with my daughter and any other kids I'm watching. They always have a lot of fun and I enjoy it too. There are several tunnels through the aquarium where the creatures are swimming over you. Those are usually our favorite spots. Petting the sharks is also a favorite.
The aquarium individual and family passes are the way to go. Otherwise tickets are very overpriced. The way they have everything priced you're membership will pay for itself in 2 or 3 visits. Definitely something every stay-at-home dad and mom in Cincinnati should get.response / report this review -

Lots of fun, and informative all around the aquarium. Visited as a date, just two adults and no kids, and still had a great time seeing everything and interacting with the fish where able. I've been to Newport a few times in the past and there are changes or upgrades every time to keep it new and fresh.

It's a Wonderful place to come with the family. Seeing so many different types of fish, penguins, sharks, and mermaid ladies were very exciting. Great and very helpful staff always with a smile. Well worth the money and great for the kiddos.

The shark walk is a must try, at least once. If only for the ability to say that you walked on a rope above a tank of sharks. Sounds cool, right? It takes about two minutes and there will be people close behind you and close in front. But take your time and try to spot one while you pass over. The touch pool is also a big favorite of ours. Could easily spend an hour there but gotta share the space!

This place is wildly cool. I've only been on slower days, but I have heard it gets pretty packed sometimes. Try to go there when its not so busy. It's worth being able to have the space to yourself without someone standing in front of you.

Had a great time at the aquarium with my daughter. All of the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. There were some exhibits that weren't available when we went but we still had a great time with all of the features that were there.
We had a little frustration with the accessibility of certain exhibits for my toddler who is not tall enough to see inside any of the displays by herself. If there were small stepping stools for kids her size so that they could look inside the tanks on their own it would be helpful.
Also more benches along Route for people who want to take a rest or to nurse their children would be useful. I found myself looking for places to nurse her and just settling for sitting on the floor somewhere as out of the way as I could manage.
They do have one nursing station for nursing mothers but it is at the end of the aquarium just outside of the gift shop and not useful if you need to nurse your child during your stay there.response / report this review -

My experience at this aquarium was amazing! I flew in all the way from Spokane, Washington. I went with my family, which there was 5 of us. The exhibits are nicely labeled with plenty of room to view the animals. We spent a good two hours here seeing everything. My favorite thing to do there was the Stingray Hideaway. You can be up close and personal with these beautiful animals. Overall it was an amazing experience. The staff was very pleasant as well.

I absolutely love this family friendly Aquarium! I never get tired of going here and I am so excited now that I get to take my grand boys! The oldest absolutely loved the sharks and being able to interact with them was incredible. He was 3 years old at the time. This year we get to take his 18 month old brother. 🦈🐢The staff is completely top notch here! They definitely make you feel like family. I love them all! 💖

Loved it was enjoyable we have went twice. I wish it was bigger/longer. And provided a place for smaller children to take a rest and play similar to what the Louisville zoo has. I liked how they were adding new exhibits or switched exhibits so going more than once it isn't the same old thing. No octopuses :( really liked the hands on area whereby can touch starfish and what have you along with the sharks. Still very hard for your very little children (18 months for us) to participate in these things. Overall great and would go again.

Admission price was okay. Parking right down sucked if you don't know the area. The exhibit itself was awesome. Then lunch was outrageous. If you go plan on eating elsewhere. Could of got Skyline Chili at Skyline for 1/2 the price. Was pleasantly surprise that the gift shop had a whole price range to chose from. We will go again but will know ahead about parking, and the cafe.

We had a wonderful time at the aquarium. Highly recommend taking the family to this attraction. Everything was great fun! We got to see some really neat oceanic and freshwater species, and even interact at a few points. The tunnels under the tanks are really spectacular, and more than one makes its really fun! Worth the money, go in the winter when they have discounts, like free children!
