Visited Kings island during the winter festival. Nice light decorations and few rides were open. The atmosphere was great. It was cold during our visit. Plan your trip accordingly. Ice skating also open. Park closes by 10pm. There didn't seem to be a fire works at closing.

It was very picturesque. The light displays we're nice. It was fun skating on the rink at the entrance, but it was a bit pricey. You have sign up for time slots and wait until your time to get on the ice. They are an hour and a half long. Some of the coasters are operating and the train is running as well.

This park has rebounded since Cedar Fair has purchased it. I was unsure at first, being more familiar with Paramount I was sad to see it go. However, they have been improving the park NON-STOP since they bought it. Each year, there is a new attraction unlike the ones you have seen before. The rides are well taken care of and the employees are very respectful. The park is also extremely family friendly and full of fun. Yes, it is expensive for food and entry to the park. As a result, I suggest purchasing a season pass which is a couple dollars more than a daily ticket and for $20-$30 dollars more you can get season drink passes. There are also meal plans available for purchase and this ensures you can see all of the park because you will be able to go back again. A season pass also allows discounts on everything in the park and FREE parking!

Always recommend the season passes. They are a great way to save. We visited this year through all seasons including the Christmas season. The new Christmas event was fun just extremely cold. The food is still high through out the year. Free ice water at most locations. One of the things that need improved is more intermediate rides. All in all always fun.

Kings Island is always fun. The newer rides are really smoothe and feel really safe compared to some past rides. The Beast will always be one of the greatest roller coasters of all time and, though it's a rough ride, it's a must. There's nothing in the world like riding The Beast at night. They've done a great job in recent years of revamping the food services. It's all very modern and there are even some kinda trendy foods like large burritos and surprisingly good chicken tenders.

A season pass holder gets the best deal. The ride selection is fantastic. The Water park has so many fun rides and pools. However, the price for food and especially drinks is outrageous. If you visit even 3-4 times, the meal plan is worth the upfront cost. Also, more handicapped parking is needed.

Great place, loads of fun. Went on a Sunday and had a great time. The lines where nice and short. I was able to take my friend who has never been. Right when we left he said "when are we coming back." Only thing I didn't like was the prices of the food.

Went for Halloween Haunt. It was great. The kids had so much fun. Lots to do and see. Plenty of rides still open. Tons of food to choose from. Haunted houses were great. Great family fun.

This park is a very nice destination for the summer. its easy to get to park and spend the day having fun. IF you get passes it makes things that much more relaxing if you want to just go for an hour and then leave. Its not a bad idea to bring a cooler get there early and then when your hungry just role out to the car for a quick bit e and the head back to the park.

Great family place. Best to get tickets online or from Kroger to get best deal. Food and drinks a bit expensive. If you can, opt for drink band or souvenir cup. My fave section is the water park. I can sit back and relax while kids are playing.

Kings Island is an AMAZING family place to visit. KI has rides, games, a small petting zoo, places to take pictures,& activities for all ages. Then if you need to rest, first aid,& security they are there. Then the water park is huge, this is my favorite spot to relax, and they have a train to bring you back & forth to the park. The fountain is so pretty, and at night they light everything up, including the sky with fireworks to finish off with a bang. So if you ever are in the Cincinnati area this is a place to go, and it gets better every year. This year KI is bringing WINTERFEST back. How AMAZING is that? So make a trip to KI, you will not be disappointed !!

Been coming to K.I. for years now as a college kid, young single with friends, married with friends, bringing my own family, etc

Always enjoy the park and the wide variety of attractions. It has changed with the several different parent companies over the years, but it's always a good time. Our favorites are the "big" rides The Beast! Diamondback, Banshee, of course, but there are plenty of other rides of varying extremes to keep just about everyone happy. The water park is also good for those needing a change of pace or cool down.

Main drawbacks for me are the expense and the "concrete jungle" atmosphere. Since Cedar bought them out, I do believe the park has become more "pretty" so that's heading in the right direction. However, the cost of a day of fun is ridiculous. Tickets and parking have become bad enough (not to mention doing away with the single rider lines for more price gouging for the "fast lane" passes), but the food and drinks are outrageously priced. You can be clever and save a few bucks here and there, anyway.

Amazing place. Was really fun. Would have gave a 5 but food costs, game costs, and the fact it was 60 out and they shut down the few log rides they have. We got to ride the snoopy log ride but Whitewater canyon was shut down due to weather. With sun out it felt fine. If we choose to get wet when it is cold that is on us. Plus some of the rides didn't open up on time due to technical difficulties. At least I got to ride the Diamondback twice(Wow). Fast lane tickets should be rethought as there is nothing more infuriating than some bunghole who has more money than you goes shooting past you to the front of the line. This was a family vacation and the cost for the tickets alone were enough.

Great family amusement park! Thrills for adults and kids alike. One of the best parks in the Midwest. Great coasters like Mystic Timbers, The Beast, Banshee, and Diamondback give coaster junkies like myself thrills for the whole day, while Planet Snoopy give the kids plenty of junior size thrills. Planet Snoopy at Kings Island is by far the best kids park I've seen. A must visit but you may want to book a hotel, it takes more than a day to enjoy it all.
