Only go because of friends. Used to visit often but things changing to much to enjoy anymore. Catering to new players instead of one's whom been playing for years. Will take our group to other casinos. Maybe then try might change.
I'll break this down to Casino, Final Cut and then the hotel:
#1 Casino; Clean, Energetic, Fun. We loved the staff at the Celebrity Blackjack tables, our favorite dealers are Missy Elliot, Taylor Swift and Kid Rock. They were personable, patient and fun.
#2 Final Cut Restaurant; Clean, elegant, expensive, good spaces for large parties. We've been to this restaurant for our 16-20 person company Christmas parties a couple times. Exceptional service the first time, however more recently we had Robyn and Angela. Angela tried her hardest and was polite. Robyn was reserved but knowledgeable: we had to wait a long time for any service. Had to get the Busser to track them down a several times. My filet was perfect, whipped potatoes and sauteed mushrooms were killer.
#3 Hotel; Nice front desk staff! Hotel floor smelled thick with Cigarette smoke. Hotel shower curtain was dirty. Bed uncomfortable; firm and terrible tiny pillows. Convenient to not drive all the way home after a party.
See you next year Hollywood!
For the most part we enjoy this casino. The hotel is very nice and private, it does get very lively on the weekends. They are clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Like most of the casinos in Indiana there is a smoking and non smoking section for those who have a preference.
Loved the casino and Boogie Night was around 4 to 4.5 stars. Love the music and atmosphere but hard to get drinks at the bar and hard to move around and dance. Nothing special going on tonight, just a normal Saturday night at the dance club. It really wasn't all that crowded. The bartenders are awesome. The customers can be rude and won't move out of your way. Drinks are a little over priced but in the atmosphere you are expected to pay it. Once again love the music and DJ.
Food is a 4 starit is aways good there. Yummy crab legs on Friday in buffet. Skip the casino experience.very little hitting in that area. Just look around you hardly ever see anyone's jackpot light going off and customer's have no money on their slot machines. 6 of us go once monthly and none of us have ever won a thing in 8 months. Travel to Jack's in Cincinnati after you eat for a better gaming experience.
Mostly electronic games that are made up games for a quick Buck. Give a deck of cards anytime over the lights and bells and whistles. For every big winner you have a thousand losers that lose more than the big winner wins. The house always wins. Better to play home poker and enjoy the company.
Came here for the Boogie Nights club and had a blast on the light up dancefloor. It's a pretty eclectic crowd and you'll leave smelling like smoke but it's a good time. As far as gambling goes the dealers are a lot of fun especially in the celebrity section.
Okay Hollywood fans, what does it mean when you leave your card in the machine, turn your seat around, ask your neighbor to watch your machine, while you go cash your ticket ( no money left on machine) because I went to cash a ticket and someone takes your machine in which you have been playing for a hour or better, and gone less than 30 seconds. Where do you stand? You reply and I'll tell you exactly what happened. Oh by the way it wasn't crowded and past 1:00 AM in the morning, so there were plenty of the same machines available. I will respectably listen to all your comments, so thank you in advance.
This is a fun place to go with a very comfortable atmosphere. Hotel is reasonably priced and connected to the casino by a inside walkway. Nothing fancy, but nice enough and clean. Check out "Boogie Nights" nightclub for a throwback to the 80's night of the kind of fun you would have at the last wedding reception everyone let their hair down and had a great time!
Very nice and clean place as far as appearance goes. Good gaming selection but the table games are a bit pricey for my taste. $15 per bet was the cheapest I saw. Has a few nice restaurants and a decent hotel as well. Ample parking. Pretty nice staff as well.
It was very clean.
The hot water was Luke warm, could take hot bath.
I would have liked a mini fridge in the room.
We had food leftovers no where to keep them so we had to throw away.
Stopped in on our way back from Ohio. I loved the valet parking since we had never been. Pretty sure we will stop in the next time we are driving to Ohio.
I go when they offer free hotel rooms but it's not great, last time our room was infested with ants and the food selection has gone way downhill.
Greatest Casino in Cinci metro, but they need to invest heavily on updates. New carpet, more air freshers, and stronger air filtration! Plus watch what the cocktail waitresses are charging for drinks. I've had first hand experience of one charging us more for drinks then they actually were. She was skimming her own tips though I'm pretty sure that didn't last long. They have some great staff!
Just spent a night at their hotel. Room was nicely appointed. Very pretty and clean. Bed was nice too! Would definitely stay again!
