It was late and my husband and I wanted to get a bite to eat. We pulled up into New Lucky China only to see that they were closing and employees were heading out the door. However, their front desk cashier stopped us and asked if we were wanting something to eat? After telling her we did but we'll go elsewhere since they were closing, she insisted we come inside to get food. She was SO sweet with her persistence that we decided to take her up on it. We ate in the car, but while waiting for the food, I couldn't help notice how pleasant the atmosphere of the restaurant was. I definitely plan to go back there to dine in. AND the food was deliciously fresh and tasty! Great service, delicious food, comfortable atmosphere -- can't go wrong eating there!

Always great food and amazing service. Many selections for sushi and other entree items. Also does carry out about 15min to prepare food for small family.

I recently moved to the area from Alpharetta and was looking for a place on par with the Chin Chin there off Windward Parkway. Specifically, I was looking for a place that served a comparable Mongolian Beef which is how I judge a Chinese restaurant. They nailed it here when I recently tried their lunch menu for takeout. The Sweet & Sour Pork was standard fanfare as it is in most places like S&S Chicken. But the portion was huge, way bigger than the Mongolian Beef.

I ordered the two lunch dishes for takeout and the fried rice servings were very generous as well. Some Chinese places I've been to charge extra for fried rice, but it's included here in the dish. I will be returning for lunch a few days a week and try more lunch specials. The only thing about takeout is that they do not include the included soup with the lunch special for some reason but you can order soup separately for takeout.

That makes no sense and that's the only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five. If you live or work nearby and need a delicious lunch takeout that has generous proportions and good quality food for the price, this is the place to go. I figure both take out containers weighed about 3 lbs. It was a LOT of food, and GOOD food, for $16. A friend of mine who lives in the area had been going to this place for years, even when they were in another location in the nearby Kroger shopping center. Apparently under new ownership/management their quality has gone even higher. Very recommended if you can get over the no-soup-for-you with a lunch special for takeout.

Hands down the best Asian restaurant anywhere. I'm quite the connoisseur, especially of Mongolian beef, and they have the best I've ever had. Also the best hot n sour soup too. I can't say enough good things about this place, love them!

Good food. Entree was a little cold but I was in a rush so didn't address it. Tasty otherwise

Been going to New Lucky for several years in, fact have recently had out of town guests there and they were very complimtary of the food and atmosphemre. My wife and I have
always enjoyed our favorite, Mongolian beef which has always been an excellent meal with good crispy beef somewhat just the right thickness. Tonight was a total dissapointment. Beef was very thin sliced and difficulti to chew and swallow. Talked w/waitress and she said there had been no change. Was not the same meal we were accustomed to having @ New Lucky China. Hope you will get back to what it use to be.

Usually go there for lunch; once a month or so. Very nice ambiance.

I really like their beef and chicken dishes. Everything is good and well prepared.

I love the food in this restaurant. The staff are nice! The only complaint I have is that it takes a while for the food to come. Overall very good!

I'm posting 2 stars, and one of them is for the past fantastic Chinese this business used to have when they were next to Kroger. Annually we go to this restaurant 15 times at minimum. Every year it's less and less.

The food quality has gone down hill massively. The coconut soup tonight was a hot mess and completely not soup consistency. Closer to snot.

Soup cracker things were stale. In their defense it's raining heavy today and humid.

General Tao's chicken remains a staple and decent to good; still not as good as it used to be.

The beef dish my wife ordered this evening was again a strange consistency- like the sauce was over starched.

Water cup remained empty till we got the check.

Price is fantastic, but our #1 Chinese spot in Atlanta just turned into never again.

Food was good but service was something to be desired. Went here for lunch and rolls were half off that day, but they weren't rolled very tight and fell apart almost had to eat sushi with a soup spoon!

Quality Chinese, great new building. All the meats used are top notch (no mystery meats) and the egg rolls are pretty decent. The fried rice could use a little something.

Best, and freshest, sushi in Atlanta! I travel around metro Atlanta for a living, and I eat sushi 2-3 times a week. New Lucky is by far my favorite. I can say that I have never written a review about anywhere even though I am a huge foodie. That should alone be testiment enough that this place is legit! You do not have to go downtown and spend a fortune to get the highest of quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Enjoy fellow foodies.
