Second time in a row I’ve ordered fish and it wasn’t cooked correctly. This time was the worst. I got served snapper that was “supposed” to be cooked all the way as you’d expect it to be as you aren’t at a sushi restaurant. My snapper was pink in the middle. I will never go back. You want good seafood go to Safe Harbor. I gave them a second chance, my mistake.
The food was fantastically prepared, the service wonderful, ambiance was very nice, but that wasn't what truly stood out; the thing I noticed more than anything was just how well the dishes were constructed. Sweet, salty, sour the flavors were balanced against each other so very well in everything we had. It was very apparent a great deal of effort went into designing each dish.
I'm sure that every restaurant does this, but few do it as well as Aqua Grill did, at least in my experience at this particular price point.
This place has beautiful atmosphere and decent service. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the water. Unfortunately, the only thing we ordered that we actually enjoyed were the oysters on the half shell. The calamari was super greasy (dripping with grease) and the scallops were still raw and the swordfish was completely overcooked, so much so that it was rubbery. Colin took care of us by taking the scallops off our check but we still paid $116 for a meal we really didn’t enjoy. Two stars is generous due to the great atmosphere and wine selection.
Exceptional service and great food.
We recently ate at Aqua while visiting some friends who are regulars. All of us had salads, appetizers and main courses and every person felt that the taste and preparation were excellent.
The fried calamari was perfectly fried and the ahi appetizer was flavorful and fresh.
Overall, we really enjoyed the evening and would return.
Ironically, the TV next to our table was displaying a hockey game because my burger had the consistency of a hockey puck. It was ordered medium but appeared to have been cooking since lunch time. While at least three different servers came by and asked me if I wanted another beer, NO ONE, not a single person, asked how the food was. While the average patron was probably, like me, old enough for Social Security and Medicare, the speakers were blaring music by Rick James and Michael Jackson. Whatever happened to Elvis and the Beatles? Only go if you want indigestion combined with deafness.
So accommodating! We decided to do an impromptu family dinner - not only did they fit all 9 of us in, but they over-took care of my elderly mother's food allergies. Food was amazing, portions were huge and our waitress rocked. Highly recommend - and save room for the Bananas Foster desert!
We celebrated our 39 year anniversary last Saturday.
The service was wonderful, right from the time we made our reservation, the meet and greet at the door and Mercedes a fabulous waitress. Very attentive and friendly and helpful as she guided us through the menu!
Our hats off to the chef, it was a great meal experience!
Thanks to all for making our special evening memorable!

Awesome food and service. Almost everything on the menu looks and sounds great. We had 4 different appetizers and 4 different dinners. Everything was top notch: Fried seafood platter, rainbow trout, swordfish, and snapper.
Nice Atmosphere. Service is great. The food was just okay. Red Snapper was over cooked. The lobster and crab cake was dry and had too much bread, and it needed more fresh crab meat. The fried pork chop was decent, but needed more seasoning. The burger was also over cooked. The orysters, mac and cheese was delicious. Although I would not visit this restaurant again, it's still worth a try.
Got to try several items and none disappointed. The Vidalia grouper is one of the best fish dishes I have ever tasted. Also really enjoyed the scallop appetizer and stuffed little neck clams. Companion got the wasabi tuna entree which was also very good. We split the crab avocado salad and the bananas foster bread pudding. All delicious. Overall pricey but highly recommended. I will be visiting again.
Food is good (7/10)
Service is BAD! Waitress is not familiar with what the restaurant have to offer. She doesn't even if they have steak sauce A1 (basic info) , she wasn't professional at all. Any thing we ask, her response is :let me check I don't know 🤔
Very slow service!
Prices is ok not very bad but I wouldn't go back due to unprofessional customer service. And oh , the manger smelled like a cigarette garden 🙃
The perfect place for a special occasion. The decor is beautiful and the table settings are private. You feel like the only party enjoying your meal. The staff seems to be excited to have you as a customer, and they are very helpful with the menu. The menu changes with the fish in season and is always delicious. Have dined here twice, snapper Jerusalem and a signature swordfish dish. Love both! Be sure to set reservations for the best experience.
