I was there for a wedding and it was amazing. Beautiful scenery, gracious hosts, and fantastic architecture. Only downside was the music system. The volume would change unexpectedly and would be almost impossible to hear for dancing. 8.5/10

Absolutely fantastic penthouse. Highly recommend for exotic dinner dates and events. I enjoy their great selection of red wine. Hosted an event last year and it turned out fabulous!

Very nice people working, clean good size rooms only a big window but great ocean view right onto beach only complaint no microwave. Good price for rooms. Sitting room is separate from bedroom and both have a TV. We were staying only 1 and opted for 2 once here and saw everything

As always the brunch spread at Casa Marina is amazing. They have the usual breakfast items but you can tell at better quality. But if 7 want lunch items they have that too with fresh cut roast beef, peel and eat shrimp, red snapper and other amazing dishes. And so t get me started on the fresh dessert and bottomless mimosas, wine and beer! Best brunch in Jacksonville hands down!

Oceanfront. Great bars inside and rooftop. Easy going bartenders with extensive knowledge. The building is historic . Happy hour appetizers may be the best on the beach. Jacksonville Beach gem. I had just married a couple on the beach, we went inside and all the guests bought toasts for the couple. It was a last minute elopement and I was proud of Jacksonville locals. For locals, an afternoon here will feel like a vacation.

The venue was perfect. It was my daughter’s 50th birthday and everything went very smoothly. The food was delicious, the balcony was great for taking pictures of the beautiful sunset also we had an open bar and it was very good. We will be back!

The rooftop bar was a great place for a drink but once again the waitress was very rude. I should have read the reviews before going. Daniel came to the rescue and was right on top of things. Bar Manager was protecting the waitress and didn’t seem to care if our party of 16 was waited on and the GM of the hotel doesn’t seem to be any different because I am still after a week not getting a response from him.

The historical aspect of it is cute and it is on the beach. For the price, you get nothing but a room and everything is falling apart. The shower head was falling off, the arm of the chair was loose, the toilet would not flush correctly and the doors and walls needed cleaned. There was no hair dryer and the free breakfeast was very limited food. They store chairs and tables all around outside so it looks very messy. Not even close too being worth a fraction of the price and I have stayed at many hotels up and down both Florida coasts.

My family (4 adults and 2 children) went to the Casa Marina Sunday morning brunch. The food offerings were varied and fairly interesting with the peel-and-eat shrimp being my personal favorite. There were the usual waffle and omelet stations but the lines were so long that none of us bothered. The atmosphere of the historic hotel was pleasant but it was crowded and noisy in the restaurant. The brunch was very expensive and, for our party of six, a gratuity of 20% was automatically added. The overall experience was nice enough and the food was good but not particularly distinctive. I'm happy we went, but it's probably a one-time event.

One of my favorite places to go at the beach. We go there and have cocktails on the deck so we can watch the waves and the Dolphins and get the beautiful view of the beach. Perfect place to watch the moon rise. Also very relaxing until the storms come in haha. Favorite place to go on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

I got a recommendation that this place was worth visiting. It was wonderful. I went to the second floor lounge and had a couple of drinks and dinner. The view is fantastic. The food was delightful.

I attended a wedding that was held on the terrace at the top of the hotel with the reception in the indoor area next to it. The door to the terrace would not reliably close correctly, and the reception area ended up feeling hotter than the terrace outside in direct sunlight. The food and service was great, but many of the guests suffered from the heat. This was especially true for anyone who was seated near a window, as our party of about 20-30 was likely too large for everyone to be comfortable in the area.

My wife and I booked this hotel for a three day get away and anniversary, since it occurred in the middle of the week, we really weren’t expecting the full breakfast and live entertainment – but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. In the mornings, we found fully cooked breakfasts including bacon, eggs, sausages, muffins, fruits, waffles, and an array of juice and coffee. This was a pleasant surprise – the website did not do this justice. Also, we visited the third-floor lounge, this was one of our trip high lights, we had heard the music, but did not realize it was a fantastic live band. And the view from the rooftop was amazing, however it was slightly raining but the view and surf sounds were amazing. The only con was the rooms were slightly different from the website and could be updated, the website should be updated with more accurate photos so there would be not feeling of being deceived. We will be returning.

Visited Casa Marina this passed weekend to see if it was a good place for our wedding guest to stay. Walked up to the front door found plastic cups and glow sticks under and around the benches out front. Walked inside and the bar located in the front had dirty dishes all over it with no one behind the bar so I can only assume those where left over night? Went to their rooftop bar and did have a pleasant time the view of the ocean was great. After cocktails went back down stairs to see that the bar was still covered in dirty plates. Will not be recommending this place on the basis of its cleanliness. On a positive note the upstairs view and some of the staff where very pleasant.

I was there for a wedding. What a beautiful place to wed! Right off the ocean (pictures are easily taken on the beach) meant a beautiful cool breeze. The food was served buffet style and was delicious & fresh. Everyone we came in contact with, from the front desk to event staff, were amazing. I'd recommend this hotel for any special occasion, especially a wedding or anniversary.
