Truly a pro! My son bit something hard last night and was in a ton of pain. I searched for dentists with Saturday hours, found New England Dental Center and messaged them through Facebook. To my surprise, I received a reply this morning right when they opened- the dentist came in (even though he wasn’t scheduled to come in today) just to help my son. The dentist managed to administer novocaine without my son even seeing the needle! He pulled out the baby tooth that was causing the pain within minutes and my son is so proud of himself and really intrigued with how quickly the dentist was able to handle the painful tooth from start to finish…
The whole experience seems to have had quite an impression on my son- who knows… maybe he will be a dentist in the future! Thank you Dr. Feldberg!

Such an amazing place to bring kids. Lisa is amazing and she is so patient with the little ones. Very personable, my kids love going to get their teeth cleaned by her! Thank you Lisa for making dentist appointments so much fun!

It is very rare to find a business, albeit even one in the care of patients, who shows such high regard and personal caring FOR their patients.
We contacted New England Dental Center with serious dental / oral issues that my Vietnam Veteran Husband has. From our first phone inquiry, to our subsequent visits and every interaction, including additional phone calls and emails, we have been treated as if we were the most valued patients possible.

Every employee was so congenial, and pleasant to be with. Immediately upon walking in, we felt so very welcomed. When we met Mrs. Feldberg, she “welcomed us to their house”, and that is exactly what is felt like; that we were guests of honor, not just simply a client number.
Dr. Rosenberg saw my husband the morning after my first call. Pleasant and skilled, we had no doubt that she was as invested in my husband’s treatment plan as if he were one of her family. The same can be said for Dr. Phillip Feldberg, who is listed on the website as Dentist / President / Owner. His role-modeling in how patient care could be / should be trickles down throughout the entire staff we have had contact with. The personal interest that Dr. Feldberg has taken in striving to get my husband quality appropriate care not only has been outstanding, but really uplifting.
Everything about New England Dental Center has been very professional, and entirely welcoming.

My husband’s care needs are going to be extensive, and on-going.
I trust New England Dental Center, where people really seem to be the most important part of their business.

I had just arrived in Connecticut for vacation and, while eating an almond, I broke a tooth. I was panicked that I would be uncomfortable all week, putting a damper on my entire time in the New England area. I quickly looked for dentists near me and came across The New England Dental Center which had good reviews. I called them and they were able to get me into the office within 30 minutes!
Dr Phillips was very caring and explained everything he needed to do. He did an excellent repair to my tooth while the staff worked with my insurance company to ensure everything was handled in conjunction with my coverage. Thanks to their quick response I was able to enjoy my vacation with no tooth problems! I highly recommend them for their excellent service.

Let me start by saying that I am a frequent flyer in the dentist chair (cavities, crowns, implant, you name it, I've had all of it), so I have seen quite a few professionals and am able to compare the service.
I have been a customer for close to a year and have had a little bit of work done: cleanings, cavities treatment and lately I had my lingual bar retainer recemented.
Both dental assistants I've had were great: they did a great job, no pain whatsoever, and considering that both my gums and teeth are extremely sensitive it is pretty impressive.
The dentist that treated my cavities has been very good at managing my pain and the treated teeth have been doing great so far.
As for their orthodentist, I will emphasize the fact that when he recemented my retainer, he was very attentive to my comfort and made sure that after his treatment I did not feel any discomfort from the retainer anymore.
Finally, the center is open until late everyday, which is great when you want to have an apointment after work hours.

I am writing this review to hopefully spare another potential patient of this Dental Practice the headache(s).
I chose New England Dental Center in Windsor knowing it’s been around for many many years. Mistake #1.
The dental office itself is very dated. Old and ugly carpet greets you as soon as you walk in. I wonder when was the last time they had their carpet cleaned. Next thing you’ll notice is the equipment. It’s very outdated and old. The X-Ray machines are from the early 1900’s and are uncomfortable to use. Nothing about this place has a sterile feel to it, at all.
I wanted to use New England Dental Center in Windsor’s services because I needed to get an implant done. Mistake#2. I should have known something was shaky with them when after my tooth extraction I had moldings made in order to get a temporary tooth put in while everything healed. I got a call the day before my appointment to pick up my temporary tooth saying that my moldings were LOST and they needed me to come back in and get new moldings made. Although frustrated, I agreed to go in and get new moldings made. Do you know they lost my second set of molding as well? Dr. Matthews himself personally called me apologizing for the mistake and asked if I could once again come in and get a THIRD set of new moldings made. After the 3rd try, I finally got my temporary tooth.
I go back for a follow-up appointment, thinking I am meeting with Dr. Matthews again. Only to be greeted by a new dentist who I’d never seen. After asking about Dr. Matthews’s whereabouts I was told “Oh, Dr. Matthews is no longer with us. No one told you?”Mistake#3.
The last straw was yesterday, when I decided as I walked out of New England Dental Center that I would never step foot back in that place. I had an appointment with the oral surgeon. I waited for TWO and A HALF Hours for them to apologize to me saying they are sorry the surgery can’t be done because they don’t have the right equipment. After they lied to me initially and told me the correct piece that was needed was not in the Windsor office. But assured me, it was being delivered from their other facility (Hence the wait.) I just can’t understand why wouldn’t someone ensure the correct tools were in-stock prior to them having their patient come in prepared for oral surgery? Not wait until the minute of the appointment and start scrambling to find things. New England Dental Center will never waste my time again.
It’s a shame because the lady who does the teeth cleaning is a doll. She’s the best thing they have going for them there. They really need to shape up, or close its doors because this is no way to do business. Too many mistakes. Too many incompetency’s. I DO NOT recommend New England Dental Center in Windsor, CT. If you can avoid it, don’t spend your money here. OH! And I'm pretty sure someone reading this that is either currently a patient here, or has used them in the past. Can relate to some of my points/disappointments I’ve mentioned here in this review. Thanks for listening!

My wife and I have been patients of New England Dental Center for about 35 years; our son has been a patient since he was old enough to have teeth. Over the years, we have had just about everything: routine cleanings, fillings, reconstructive surgery, pediatric care, orthodontia, crowns, root canals, periodontal surgery, the occasional dental emergency … the works. WITHOUT EXCEPTION over all those years, the doctors, hygienists, and staff have been exceedingly capable, professional, pleasant, and responsive. When insurance did not fully cover a procedure, the practice was willing to make helpful financial arrangements. I am happy to recommend New England Dental Center without reservation.

Five stars!!!
I've always been satisfied with the level of treatment consideration and professionalism I've received in New England dental center. Today however I had a very rare, yet profoundly pleasant experience as I was leaving the dental office. A gentleman pulled up next to me as he exited the parking lot and casually asked how was experience at the office today? I casually responded that my visit was just fine and asked why he was inquiring this of me? He went on to explain that he was Doctor Feldberg and he had started the practice. We conversed for a brief few minutes some time talking about dental health and the remainder sharing a few personal stories about one another. The connection between doctors and patients and business operators and their consumers on a personal level is a fleeting if not already extinct phenomenon It was such a pleasure, I can confidently recommend New England Dental Center to anyone looking for first class service and professionalism!

We have 4 children that go to this practice. 2 of our kids had/have braces and we have great service with both the braces and the routine services of this practice. I would highly recommend this practice to any of my friends for their families. From the time that we walk until the time we walk out the door, the friendly faces there make us feel very at home. The reception staff are great along with the dental assistants and Dentist. Great job and thank for all that you do for us.

I have been using their services for few months now. These guys are just amazing. I would like to specially thank Dr. Sally Rosenberg . I had to get a somewhat complicated procedure done for my front teeth. She figured out the best solution and implemented with perfection. The front desk staff is very friendly . They also are great with explaining the billing arrangement and followup with the Insurance co. Overall my experience has been really good. I would definitely recommend anyone to use their services.
