Was at the Marriott for work and ventured down to the spa. Was quiet, clean, relaxing ambiance. I had a facial which was great (they do extractions here which I love). The massage I had was amazing! I was with Darcy and highly recommend seeing her. I loved her so much, I had two massages in the week I was there! She is a must see :-) I didn't have any issues with people talking, chatting or disruption from outside while in the massage or facial room.
All-in-all a great experience from start to finish!

I called to book two services a month before my trip when at the time of booking I was told that I could add on one more service and all three was complimentary. I was so shocked that I told her (Jennifer) I had to call her back because I didn't know what I wanted to choose! I called her back about 3 hours later and chose my third service and she reassured me that it was all complimentary. About two weeks before my travel date, I called to add on two more services because why not on such a great offer with my 3 day stay! The two services was scheduled on a fri and I had just flown in and it was getting closer to my appt time when I called and had to leave a VM saying I may be about 8 min late 30 min before my appt started. They called me back and I missed it but they didn't leave a VM so I called about 15 min before to tell them that I was going to be on time and I spoke with a guy and he said that was fine. I got there and was on time and went in for the two services.
The next day I had a feeling I should ask one more time if my services was still free. I was fully robed and was about to go into my session when I just had to make sure one more time and found out that non of the 3 packages for that day was free. WHAT??? I was highly upset! They tried to offer 50% off because the last min notice, but I wasn't prepared to pay for that since I was there for a convention and those packages was not in my budget! All I received was a "well you already rendered your two services and had you went ahead with the other three you may not have been charged, so.. sorry." That's not how things would've played out! If I went in for the three free promised services and come out only to find out I had to pay, they would've probably asked me to leave the property because I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR A SERVICE THEY SAID WAS FREE! Not one person told me before my appt that there was any change and they won't even accept that this fell through on their end.
I am still upset and I have so many questions but they already disregarded me and my situation. I have made up my mind that I will not return nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

NaTisha is the most amazing massage therapist I've ever been to. I've traveled the world and received countless massages, no one even compares. Next visit I'll be sure to book with her again! I got a deep tissue massage and have a long history of shoulder and back painshe fixed me right up! Can't wait to make another appointment! A true professional!

The Buttes Resort in Tempe, AZ is an amazing feast for the eyes. Beautifully elegant, upscale, tranquil location. Surprisingly, the Narande Spa does NOT match up with its ambience. Just hearing the name of the establishment and I immediately began to conjure up these wonderful images in my head, however, this spa actually seems out of place at this resort. Open the door to the spa and you can immediately see the persons having their pedicures as well as the persons at the check-in desk. The changing room is beyond cramped with NO PRIVACY! The waiting area, separated by only a café style door, is even more cramped . This is NO CHI-CHI Poo-Poo spa, just the bare necessities, so if you are ONLY looking for an AMAZING massage or pedicure then you are in the right place. NO AMBIENCE, just AMAZING massages and pedicures. As a result of the close proximity to the pedicure area and the check-in desk, I suggest you do not expect a quiet massage because you are able to hear all of the chatter from those areas.

The person working the phones was completely scattered. She put me on hold 3 different times and then ended up booking my appt on the wrong day (told me Thur but put it in their books for Tue). When I found out I cancelled the appt altogether. How good can their service be if they can't sort out making an appt? I did speak with the manager and she apologized but there are plenty of spas in the valley to choose from so why go through the hassle of mishandled appts.
