The cashier Amelia was horrible !! I came to enjoy a nice little movie with my family two days after Christmas, and she was rude over a simple hot dog. I told the manager, Betty and she wasn’t helpful either. She actually had the nerve to say that Amelia is usually very nice. However, the cook was very professional and helpful. I’m going to post again with his name because he was the only cool guy with customer service! Won’t visit here again!! Dirty movies early in the morning and nasty attitude employees! Contacting their corporate office!
Dirty and rundown. Bathrooms were nasty. Ordered hot food at the snack bar and it was terrible. The girl who was putting people’s food together handled money and did not wash her hands. Gross. There are better theatres in the area.
It was pretty a pretty AWESOME!! ex perience to watch Star Wars in 3D the movie theater is very nice there is an arcade in the bottom floor if you like to play a game before the movie starts and there is a bar on the second floor which is way too convenient for me the only thing I did not like or enjoy too much is the way they raise the prices of the food every year I'm in five dollars en iPhone 6 for small easy drawings email for small Box office suite Twizler's that that is just absolutely ridiculous, which is exactly why I stopped going to the movies years ago. next time I'll just watch it when it comes out on video sorry I couldn't get a picture of it I got there about 10 minutes late no thankfully I got we got good seats in the middle row of seats maybe I'll get a picture next time but overall it was a nice experience and decent movie theater
Wow this place is cool looking but every seat was stained and ripped. I mean there were chunks of food and gum on every seat! The floor was sticky and there were piles of old food just stacked up under the seats in the theater. It is the dirtiest theater I have even seen. I don't think they have ever cleaned or repaired anything ever.
Multiple times I have called in order to ask for a refund on tickets or to ask if I left something in the theater. No answer. Absolutely ridiculous. Everything else is fine but it sucks how they don't even answer calls.
Friendly staff and awesome facility! I had a great movie experience.
Very clean and guess services is excellent! The staff is very professional and they have armed security which makes me and my family feel safe.
The theaters are clean and nice and its close to downtown West Palm Beach. They've improved the concessions so its not as slow as it was.
This place was better with Muvico but now that AMC took over my god it's hideous. At night if you go to enjoy a movie lots of young people all over the places shouting, yelling, using the phone during movies. The food prices went up as well as movie prices. The seats are uncomfortable and not to mention the staff doesn't care about customer satisfaction its a disaster. Rather pay same money and go to Boynton or somewhere nice, neat and quiet where I can watch movies.
Went to see Girls Trip with my girlfriends and we missed the last half of the movie. The reason for the interruption of our long awaited cinematic experience. RATS!!! Try to imagine a theater full of women realizing there are rats running across the bottom of the movie screen and realizing they are not CGI but the real deal!!! These rats are extremely brazing to make a special appearance with such a full crowd. There was nearly a stampede to the exit to taste the sweet freedom the outdoors. The only place I will ever pay to see rodents appear on stage is Orlando HEY MICKEY🐭🐭
In Tampa the seats recline and are wider. Nice large theatre though. Clean atmosphere.
Movico in West Palm Beach, City Walk area
What an enchanting and beautiful theater. On the outside.
Arrived in line to purchase tickets with 6 people ahead of us. Movie starts in 15-minutes, 1-cashier. Said cashier not really capable in any sense of the word. Each person in line she had to ask multiple times what show, how many tickets, reward cards and then repeated these questions because she did not have the capacity to remember. A lady in line waved at the 2-coworkers inside to see if they could open another line but they just waved back and continued their conversation. We tried using the select kiosk outside to purchase our tickets but all 4 were not working.
25-minutes later, mind you only 6-people ahead of us and only 4-actually purchasing tickets, and we arrive to counter of sloth lady. "Hi, 1-adult, 1-senior for xx-movie at 3:15, we don't have a reward card and don't want one." Okay, how many tickets? -answered. Okay what movie? -answered. Do you have reward Card? -no, just want this movie. (Pause) Okay, how many tickets? Once tickets in hand from Miss ihavethementalcapacitytounderstandbutdonotreallycare. I asked what theater it is showing; her response, they'll tell you inside.
Enter and hand off tickets after we rudely interrupted the important discussion being held by the 2-workers who waved at the lady earlier. Not sure if their conversation was on new acne treatment or what they would do if they actually didn't have to pay for a date?
Enter upstairs to purchase a popcorn, soda, and bottle of water. No hellos or greeting from the ugly sloth creature but in her defense she was busy texting someone, probably critical in her life of movie theater establishment. She walked up and tossed the bag of popcorn onto the counter with popcorn falling on counter and floor (still no hello but she is still trying to fit her phone back into her rear pocket, tight fit).
The movie was fantastic although the seats behind us were littered with trash, theater is epic and beautiful for scenery and ambiance, as long as you don't look at the workers handling your food without gloves or actually attempt eye contact.
If you visit here, run, don't walk, that way you'll have more time to wait in line to arrive late at your movie. And never, ever look the workers in the eye. Or feed them after midnight. No matter how much they beg.
Hate it there now. New management need Customer service understanding to provide good service. They take away all great food they use to have in the menu there. You are left with minimal choices. No more trays for food. Paying $15 membership. I don't see the benefits of it yet. Need serious improvement there now. Staff still OK. Management is with no management skills.
Great movies and theater. Food prices a little above average. Fast food and pop corn lanes always slow so make sure u get there early. Parking very accessible
Nice place, and the theater screens are very modern looking and high quality and great sound. I normally buy all my tickets on Fandango and pick them up at the ticket kiosk to avoid lines.
The only negative I have to say is no one picks up the phone, it just rings and rings. I had a few questions regarding the moving seats for some of the films and in general needed help to ask if they had any ticket machines and was not able to get threw to anyone.
