Went there 3 days in a row. FIRST DAYI found out they don’t allow people to renew their license after 4:30. SECOND DAY I had all information and proof for renewalbirth certificate, 2 bills, credit cards etc. My last name didn’t match my birth certificate because I was married and divorced, so, they needed marriage certificate and divorce certificate. No mention that I needed those documents. THIRD DAY Had all information and showed up at 4:15 (before the cut off for license renewal). They already had sign saying they WOULD NOT take anyone that had a license renewal. I went up to front desk and explained I had been there 3 times and was there before the cut off time for license renewals. She said we have every right to put the sign up anytime we want to. DON’T PUT INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT YOU STOP TAKING RENEWALS AT
4:30 PM!!!!!!!!!!!
4 hour wait. There are 16 stations and most are empty. What gives? I've never had to wait this long at Martin County, Port St Lucie, or back in Pennsylvania. This is unacceptable.
We had a great experience. Although it is a very busy office, things move along quickly. The people who work there are very helpful, patient and nice. The young lady who assisted us, SANDRA, was very professional and friendly. Great job!
Insane wait for renewing a license!! Got here at 8:15 still waiting at 10:00. With my kids who are making me crazy. Moral of the story- make an appointment if you can, don't bring your kids they will drive you insane from bordem, and don't expect to get anything else done the day you go.
Just because 2+ hour wait times are "the norm", doesn't mean we should just accept it. This process is ridiculous. Simply getting title paper work filed on my jet ski purchases. I'm waiting for almost 3 hours to give them money to put my name on a piece of paper they require me to have and to give them tax money on items that have already been taxed System = broken. This place is broken worse. Unfortunately, title work is not something you can do on the web must be here in person. Sweet.
Great experience, Guillermo on station #15 help me and he was patience and super nice. expect to wait a few mintes if you don't have an appt. But they move really fast.. be patience at the end of the day they are humans just like you.
Just like any other tax collector office/DMV the line will be long and it will take time. Arrive early, bring snacks and be prepared for the process. Overall great experience at this location with friendly staff! Make an appointment or arrive early and you will save your sanity.
I took my wife today to take her Driving test and it wasn't long till they called our number so we go up to the window and our Officer (Celecia) didn't even say Hi and she was all serious and then i explained to her that my wife speaks little English and while she was testing her she wouldn't take it easy and explain what she had to do she went 100 miles an hour
My experience was quite pleasurable don't ever go to one of these places not expecting to wait a couple hours. Everyone there was very kind and courteous. The system Works quite well and they move people through in a timely manner. I waited an hour and 50 minutes maximum. I'm a very impatient person and hate to wait but if you go there in the right frame of mind you won't be disappointed. I can't recall the name of the lady that helped me she spoke with a Cuban accent. And she said her name was something that started with a C. She was great and very helpful. Kudos to you
