Was only here for an overnight but the lady was very nice on the phone and the tent sites were nicely wooded areas. Site 70 is small but I made it work. Showers were a bit tight but the water was hot and had good pressure! Didn't see much else but it suited my needs :)

Great place for families. It is laid back. A little dated but I think it adds to the charm. Wonderful staff and their camp dogs are so cute and friendly.

Came here on my AT thru hike and has been the beat campground ive stayed at yet. Many amenities rec room, pool, fishing pond, store, and grill.

Heck of a drive in. Lots of drop offs at night I couldn't see. I'm sure it will be beautiful in the daytime.

Excellent camping. Owners are wonderful people. Camp spaces are great. Hookups are easy. Bath house was super clean. Pool was very nice. Had music at pavilion on weekends. Lots of hiking areas. Love this place will recommend and return

My husband and I, my sister and her husband, my sister's two children and their five children stayed at the campground from the 24-28 of August. We had a blast. We rented cabin #3 and a trailer site and a tent site. We hiked several times, swam in the pool and the swimming pond. We fished in the fishing pond a couple of times. This is a rustic, no frills place to stay. Air conditioner in cabin worked great. Small clue, hang a heavy towel over the window in the kitchen to help keep the place cool. Owners very friendly and have a wonderful camp store. Kariokie at the pool on Saturday night. Very very hot in August. 90-110. Stayed in the woods and in the river a lot. Bugs a problem so take some spray, also a smoking fire helped keep them at bay. Too hot for a fire but we lit one anyway. Other campers were great fun and a corn hole game was enjoyed by all. I would recommend this campground to anyone.

We enjoyed this gem in the mountains of Virginia. Our kids loved walking in the creek, playing in the swimming pond and hiking. They even played a movie at night when we were there which we found very cool. It was very relaxing.wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely recommend this campground if you just want to get away. Nothing fancy, just peaceful.
