Great service, great food, great beer. Usually crowded on the weekends but still worth the visit. Have their own 4 beers on tap, all great!

We usually stay and eat in Lexington. This is a fantastic alternative. Very friendly pub atmosphere and delicious food with more than just standard pub fare options.

I really enjoyed it here. We came with friends and while the servings were rather enormous, the food was very tasty and they have great fries! It's a very nice old building and is super clean inside. It looks like an old school bar but has all the welcoming aspects of a family dining place. Next time I'm in town, I'd like to eat here again.

I didn't believe the rating until I visited. This place is truly amazing. Had their Reuben and it was sublime! It was not a typical reuben instead the sauerkraut had more of a sweet taste to it. All in all amazing place!

Visiting the Homestead in Hot Springs, decided to expierence your place in Clifton Forge last night. Last night will be my last entry to your business. I will be filling out a report/complaint with the ADA. I entered your business with two friends and my Service Dog. She always wears her vest with tag. The host approached us and asked "How Many? Is a booth ok for your dog" I replied sure. We sat down, placed my service dog at my feet and a very pleasant waitress approached, welcomed us, and took our drink orders. She delivered our drinks and a guy approaches the table and ask if that was a "real service dog"??? I said yes, she has her vest and tag on. He then said "I need proof.papers, registration. I advised No you don't if you know the federal law but her papers are in my car. He replied then go get them. My friend with me said he would go get them for me. This was all unnecessary if there was any doubt about my service animal I should have been questioned at the door. "Michael" who would not provide his last name took my dogs Federally issued ID and paper away from table for several minutes. When he returned to table there was no apologies We were made to feel as if we did not belong. I was embarrassed in front of everyone around us. I was mad and yes I did get inappropriate and tell him he needs to learn the "f***ing" federal laws if he is a mamager before he "harasses" another customer with a disability. Not all disabilities are visible" He said for my language that me, my dog, and my two friends would need to leave. By this time we did not want to be there any longer. The waitress even apologizes for his behavior and she even said the incident should never occurred. She also stated to the 3 of us that his "views and behavior don't represent the restaurant." We left in disbelief of what just occured. My dog goes everywhere with me. grocery, movies, gym, restaurants, with no problems. Honestly in 5 years I have never been given a reason to file a complaint with the ADA. When we ask for his last name to file the complaint we were told "Michael No Name" Unbelievable in today's world.

The food was delicious. The staff was awesome. They were busy so we sat at the bar and the bartender was great. My friend and I both said we would drive 2 hours just to eat there again from where we live. I highly recommend this place.
