We will definitely go to the christmas lights earlier in the day and not during the weekend next year. We waited for hours to get in, by the time we got to see the lights everyone wanted to go home. The worst part was getting through the entrance to realize the concessions were closed. After that long of a wait in line and not being able to use a bathroom, that would've given us a little relief, at least. I hope they work on that next year.

Just went to the Night Lights Christmas lights display. Took 2 hours to drive thru. Very next display. Very pleased with how the sponsors names were displayed. Heard it was all advertisements of the spoknsdors, but not so. Great job. Music accompaniment could have been better.

A great track to visit. The camping spots are really nice and a good time I recommend them. Lots of options for food and drinks. Being a large track it can be difficult to see at times. A lot of traffic leaving so there may be a wait but there is plenty of parking. Book hotels as early as possible they fill up fast. Be prepared to walk a lot.

This is a fantastic experience for all ages. The lights are beautiful and go on forever.
Stopping at the Winter Wonderland is a great time for the kids. It is held indoors, so no need to be bundled up except for the walk from car to building.
They can make a craft, sign up for a bike raffle, see and talk to Santa, watch a puppet show and see lots of indoor light displays. They also had two live reindeer to visit. There are plenty of areas for picture taking and snacks are available for purchase.
Once back in your car, there are many more displays to see as you criss cross MIS, including riding along pit road. An awesome family activity.

Been to tracks all over the US and this is 1 of the best tracks I've been to! Not only is it the fastest unrestricted 2 mile track but it is a well kept up. Free concerts every night, rather its put on by the track or the 1 of many campgrounds around the track. Very nice staff that keep the track and surrounding area's clean. Can't wait to go back next summer!

Always a great time. Well ran, clean, organized. Make sure you know which entrance you need to go in WELL before you get anywhere near the speedway. Enjoy the other race fans We are all here for the same reason Nascar and a good time!

I have been visiting MIS for over twenty years and other than rain shortened races I have never had a bad experience. we had tickets in section 2 right at the top, just left of the start finish line and the view is amazing. those tickets dried up but for such a big track the sight lines are quite good. always a good time at MIS, especially if you like to tailgate and meet awesome people from all over.

We often go to MIS for the June Nascar race to kick off our summer. It's a great family environment. This year was particularly hot and sunny and my daughter was nearly heat stroking. We retreated to the underside of the Grand stand and we're approached by many carrying track staff offering ice cubes, water, and assistance. The excellent staff heroes make what may have otherwise been a miserable time for her a bit better.

This is a spectacular venue for NASCAR racing. The facility is great, the Irish Hills area that the track is in is very nice. The racing is ok but the experience is amazing. The parking here is also the best of any track I have been too, you don't even have to wait in traffic after the race and can just drive right out of the parking lot. I would definitely recommend coming here for a race.
