I go here every time I visit my sister in GR. They have interesting food options and great vegetarian choices. I wish the atmosphere was a little more comfortable, warm and friendly. But they do have efficient staff!

Loved the dish, generous portions and the craft root beer i selected had just the right bite. Recieved a selection of dips with my sweet and potato fries, all were yum, The service was fast and friendly. The kitchen is open so you can watch your dish prepared. I will be back .

The experience here at the Electric Cheetah was really great! I would give them a 4.5 rating.I loved walking in to see the pride flag. This along with seeing vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten free bread for my friend that requested it was so refreshing. The portions were nice size and was in line with the cost of the meal which was quite reasonable.
Our waiter Chris, was great at suggestions for our root beer choices and very helpful. The cooks were fun and friendly and joked with us. Two of my friends had the Yahtzee sandwich which they both loved; after eating they had a chance to roll the dice to try and get a Yahtzee for a free meal. They didn’t win however it added to the fun of the night. Next time I will come back and get Uncle Billy’s Macaroni and cheese and the salted caramel root beer. I love your restaurant!

Great place to eat! Definitely one of the best restaurants in GR. If you like exploring different hot spots for food, add this to your list! They have a crazy about of root beers, their prices are fantastic and the quality of food is just amazing! Highly recommended!

Great natural light made it fun for a mid-Saturday date, the Reuben sandwich and fries that I had made my day. Pretty good beer selection of local Grand Rapids stuff and some other wacky brews that I had never even heard of.

Absolutely love the Electric Cheetah. Might as well call it the Eclectic Cheetah because the menu is just that. But eclectic in the best way possible. The menu is creative, the ingredients are fresh and it has always impressed me with it's combination of flavors. Would highly recommend. The only reason I gave it four stars just because I wish the beer selection was more extensive.

Loved it. I appreciated the unique menu, lots of vegetarian options, vegan options. The vast root beer menu was entertaining in enjoyable to try varieties. Our server was a delight. We had an awesome time and we'll be glad to be back.

Excellent time at the Electric Cheetah. The dill flavor in the fried chicken was unique but delicious! Lots of variety on the menu and awesome atmosphere. Not to mention all the different flavors of root beer. Can't go wrong a draft. Very kid friendly or a great place for a group of friends. Service was exceptional as well with great recommendations and awareness.

Ginger and root beer menu is awesome, I loved the Jamaican. My server (Jesse? Whatever happened to name tags, man?), was super nice and I forgive him for getting absolutely slammed at the end of my visit here cause up until I watched about 6 different parties walk in for lunch, he was extremely attentive and very friendly. He mentioned that they lost their executive chef recently which is a shame. I had the eggplant and it was pretty dang good. The only critique I have is it would have been nice if they'd thrown the tomato on some heat. The warmth of the eggplant was kind of jarring against the cold tomato. Otherwise, a really delicious treat and a good experience. Hopefully the next time I go, they've found a new chef c:

Quick and tasty. I had one of many root beers they offer and enjoyed it. The wait staff was nice but felt distant during my lunch. I wanted a refill early but she didn't come around for a while and when she told me I'd have to basically buy another I declined whereas I might of a bit earlier. Other than that I loved the food choices.

Very eccentric and fun little restaurant in the nicer part of Wealthy St. Specializes in hearty meals like variations on Mac 'n' Cheese. In a town bursting at the seems with craft breweries, this place offers 40 varieties of root beer. Very family friendly. Huge portions. Service was a little slow in the middle of the Saturday night rush, but the staff was so kind and accommodating that they more than made up for the wait.

The Electric Cheetah alone has the potential to put Grand Rapids on the national map for stellar cuisine. The menu itself is a funky and witty mixture of unique foods and small jokes, new ways to present food, and a classic example of a place that doesn't take itself too seriously.

I have dreams about this place. If you live anywhere within driving distance of The Electric Cheetah, get in your car.

Likes: Decor, promotion of local art scene, attracts young, respectable crowd, beyond fantastic food, joking manner/attitude, expert waiting staff
    Dislikes: lack of parking

Electric Cheetah is amazing. The update the menu frequently, and everything is delicious. Great local ingredients combined in creative ways. You will not be disappointed if you come here!

They just stared doing breakfast now as well! It's not your typical breakfast menu. If you're looking for something other than breakfast classics, you'll love what they have. It was delicious as well.
