Midnight Sun used to be my go to spot for spray tans. Never Again! First off, if you ever get a coupon for them, don’t waste your time! Look at the bottom of the coupon and where is says “other restrictions may apply” that means that if you have ever used a coupon there in your LIFETIME, you will never be able to use another ever again. Apparently I used a $5 off coupon with them 3 years ago in 2014 and they wouldn’t allow me to use a 20% off coupon in 2017.

Secondly, the front desk girl is beyond RUDE!!! I have never had any issues with any of the other clerks before this woman. I’ve spray tanned a lot so I’m pretty confident that I know what I’m doing. She kept trying to push a package of products on me and telling me that I needed these products if the spray tan was going to even work. I had already purchased those products the previous year from them and still had the majority left over so I didn’t need any more products. She wasn’t going to let up. She then went to some other products because I refused to buy the first package of products she was trying to sell me. I told her no again. She then snapped at me looking me up and down and very rudely told me that if I don’t purchase any of the products that she is suggesting then my spray tan just isn’t going to look good. I said I just want a spray tan, can I just spray tan? She just kept on going and honestly made me feel like I was stupid. All I wanted was a simple freaking spray tan and at that point it felt like she just wasn’t going to even allow me to do so. It felt like 20 minutes had gone by with her looking at the computer, trying to push me to buy products or try to push on whatever extra costs she possibly could. At that point I told her this is ridiculous and that I was just going to go somewhere else and walked out. I ended up finding another tanning salon that evening and I was able to get right in without the clerk bullying me and ended up with a beautiful spray tan!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff will try to upsell you ridiculous amounts of stuff you don't need. I had an issue with my account and asked to speak the the district manager, they refused to give me any contact info and were extremely rude. The store manager Elise was terrible to deal with. Do not tan with this company, especially at this location.

Midnite sun is the best tanning salon I've ever been to. I come every year to prepare for vacations and summer and the staff are always happy and they always make sure I get my best tan. I also love the spray tan and the color is amazing!!!

The woman working the front desk is so rude! If I were the manager, I would sit her down and have a serious chat about how to treat customers or let her go after reading all these bad reviews.

If your coming here for a base tan before a vacation, then just go somewhere else. I went in intending to go for a couple visits before a vacation and I didn't think anything of it because I tan easily. She gave me a full on sales pitch about why I should get a package because, as she pointed out, I was soooo pale. I tired telling her that I want a couple one time visits because I just need a base tan for my vacation in a week. When I said that, she looked me up and down, made a disgusted face, and told me that I will not get a base tan in a week because, once again, I am pale and I have blonde hair(dyed) and blue eyes(I have seen reps do this in a kind manner, but this woman was just bitchy). I get that reps can recommend a safe amount of time someone might pick for a bed, but I don't think they should judge, discourage and harass them with what they think you should do.

I left, went to their other location, tanned, and guess what, I have a base tan for my vacation! HA! The other location made a recommendation for time and then let me in the bed. It was that easy. I told my friends about this encounter and they actually had the same experience with the same ill-mannered woman. One of my friends even said that when she got to the bed, after being insulted and it started running before she was in it.

So, if you want to go in here, then expect the condescending front desk woman to give you a very hard time. Look for long dark hair and then just turn around if you see her.
