NO STARS! Got the Big Nasty. You got the Nasty down. Found a piece of heavy plastic bag under the meat on the bread. It was large enough to choke on. Fortunately, I vomited it up with the rest of the Nasty. Thanks McAlister's Deli and CONGRATULATIONS ON LOSING ANOTHER CUSTOMER!

This place is a surprise. Good food, pleasant helpful staff, and service above average. Sandwiches are good and the soups are better. The environment is very pleasant. Definitely worth your first visit and I think you'll repeat at times when nothing else grabs your attention.

My husband and I travel pretty extensively and have had good luck at other McAlisters in the chain. This McAlister's was right by our hotel. We were attending the Red Bull Air Race and needed to get back to Chicago that night so it was a no-brainer to get the family some car-food to eat on the way home. I ordered online, around 10am, Sunday morning. Pick up at 12:15. Our food was ready and packed up. One sandwich had gluten free bread, and all sandwiches we requested to be cut in half.
The gluten free sandwich was excellent, the kids Toasted cheese received no complaints, but the husband's Ham and Cheese Toasty was literally half a sandwich and almost no ham (see pics). In addition to that, when I went to pick up, I had to request our drinks, and sadly, assumed my daughter's milk was already in the bag. No one checked the drinks. No milk, lucky to have our teas, and received one half a sandwich. So, for a relatively expensive meal, it was definitely falling short of our expectations. Unfortunately, we found this all out an hour and a half northwest of Indy. I can give kudos to hitting the mark on the gluten free requests but, really, the sandwiches looked like they had been slapped together by 3 different people. Sunday morning quality control is lacking. Definitely, thoroughly, check your take-out order!

Food was great! Service with a smile. Wonderful menu with options. Their offerings could feed Goliath or someone's Grandma.

Having lunch with my guy Keith and McAlister's. It was his first time here he enjoyed the reuben and the chili.

I got my usual sweet chipotle chicken with a veggie Spud minus the black olives good as usual. And of course I had to get my sweet green tea with the strawberry and Peach syrup.

The staff are super friendly as well

I usually go to this place to grab some lunch. I work right next to this McAlister's and the staff is really friendly they are always busy.
Food is great. Fresh. Only thing I think the sweet tea could be a little sweeter.
Last time I ordered a sweet tea from here I had to add Sweet n Low to it.

We decided to eat here today before going to the zoo, because of an advertised promotion where children in Halloween costumes received a free kids meal (with an adult purchase). My husband and I brought our daughter in her costume and ordered food. I asked the cashier about the free kids meal, and she informed me they are not honoring that promotion. I even asked her to repeat herself to be sure, and she did. I later discovered that 2 other families in the restaurant had received free kids meals for their children in Halloween costumes. I then spoke to a manager who told me the restaurant is honoring the promotion, so I informed him that my cashier had refused to honor it. His only response was, "Sorry about that. I'll make sure they are all aware of it." He made no effort to remedy the mistake, and he really didn't seemed concerned about it. I realize it was just a kids meal, but it is bad business practice not to honor a widely publicized promotion (that is obviously meant to bring in extra business) for one person, when the company is honoring it for other customers.
