Delicious food and excellent service. My husband had the chicken biscuit and I had the crab cake benedict. Both were generous portions and very satisfying. Our server was excellent, as well. My husband said that this is the only place we'll go for breakfast the next time we visit Asheville.

The second best meal I had in Asheville was at this cool, Cajun "diner". The Bloody Mary bar was deep with a solid, but not overwhelming variety of selections. My omelette was good, but could have used more crayfish - the flavour was, however, excellent. The fresh biscuits were outstanding, and everything else that our group had was fantastic. Service was good.

Mayfel's has fabulous Cajun-inspired food with several unique, tasty and creative choices. I had the Karma, a breakfast dish with a name that tells you something about the restaurant's culture. That culture is reflected in the free-spirited decor - you'll definitely feel comfortable in very casual wear. Our friendly waitress did a great job of negotiating the traffic around densely packed tables. The crowded conditions were the one downside, but it was Sunday brunch when we ate there.

Shrimp and grits are great. Frog legs are like fishy chicken wings. Po-Boy is a bit too crunchy of bread for my taste.

We had a delicious brunch. Got there just after noon and waited for the patio. Well worth the wait. I had eggs Benedict with crab instead of ham and it was fabulous. My husband thoroughly enjoyed a generous bowl of seafood gumbo and thought it really really good. Hope we can go back again!

Delicious! Dog friendly on the front patio. We were there on a Tuesday morning for breakfast and it was still pretty busy. We were seated quickly and the waitress was fantastic with the dog plus giving us suggestions. There was far too much food (there always is!) but it was so delicious. Nice option to be able to order from the breakfast or lunch menu too.

Really good food. Reasonable prices. Quick seating. I tried the French toast and the eggs Benedict traditional. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict.

Great food. Great patio. But the most incredible and impressive thing about this upscale restaurant was watching a homeless woman walk onto the patio, be greeted kindly with smiles by the staff, and leave with a meal. HOW AWESOME AND RARE!

As a person who lived in asheville for about 2 years this is my favorite brunch place. I always eat there when i visit. It can get busy but their crab burger has the best crab cake I've ever eaten because of the wonderful spices and large amounts of crab it has. Highly recommend

The staff is always friendly with just the right amount of attentiveness. While I'm not a huge fan of all of their menu items *cough cough, veggie sausage* I tried the Kodiak eggs Benedict for breakfast today. It was impeccably well prepared; perfectly poached eggs, English muffin toasted just so, and a creamy hollandaise that I thoroughly enjoyed. The smoked salmon pairs well with the arugula and topping of capers. Excellent job on a dish that was well worth the price. Keep it up guys!
