Lori was a pleasure to work with, she was willing to work with me more on my trade in than any other dealerships I went too. She was incredibly helpful with getting our payment where we wanted it too. Also, I love the lifetime oil changes! That alone makes me love Asheville Toyota.

Great experience at a great dealership. Even though the dealership has changed ownership, a lot of the staff still remains from the previous owner. Super nice and friendly employees. One of the few dealerships I’ve been to where you’re not haggled and followed continuously. Aaron Sumner is one of the best salesmen they have there, I highly recommend him for his experience and willingness to find you what you need.

The atmosphere of this dealership is outstanding! I was immediately made to feel at home! I have been to many dealerships in my search for my new car and every one of them I felt like I had to be on my guard because if they could they would take advantage of me and spin things to get me to buy! This was not at all the case at this dealership! Everyone was genuine, caring, and HONEST! They immediately did the best they could without playing games! I am forever grateful that they made this stressful purchase an easy and enjoyable one!

Sales staff very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Staff was friendly and eager to help to get me into my new vehicle and at the best price. Will highly recommend my friends and family to visit the dealership.
Only minor detail is a wish the cargo rails for the bed had came with the truck but just a minor technicality.

We had a great experience buying a vehicle at Fred Anderson Toyota. Buying a new car has always been kind of a dreaded thing for me but they made it a painless experience. The whole experience was very professional from the time we walked in and asked to test drive a vehicle; to the trade-in process and then financing. Amazed at how quickly we were on the road with our new 4Runner! Love the no-haggle pricing too. Highly recommended!

Simply AMAZING service and beyond my best expectations. I was recently traveling to Asheville with my wife for fun and to do some hiking. While up in the mountains, my '05 4runner began making a loud humming noise which sound like a wheel bearing. I made it back to my hotel but the noise was worse. Having to get back home to our kids over 4 hours away the next day I was very concerned to drive for my safety and others on the road. I called Fred Anderson Toyota but they had already closed for the evening but I was routed to their Charleston office who advised me to get into the dealership at open to check on the problem. Knowing that I didn't have an appointment, I anticipated I might be stuck in Asheville for a few days or need to rent a car to get home and have to come back to get mine.

I arrived at Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville a few minutes before they opened, was the first one in the door. I was greeted by Angel (and the name was appropriate) in the service department who by far is the best service associate I have ever dealt with in all my years of car ownership. She was friendly, listened to my situation and was truly vested in helping me resolve my problem. REAL customer service I was never made to feel like a nuisance or just another number. Angel was able to work my car into their schedule, diagnose the problem (it was a wheel bearing) and get me back on the road, all in under 4 hoursAGAIN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT!!! I also have to mention that Ron, the courtesy driver who shuttled me back and forth to my hotel while my car was getting fixed, was also a pleasure. We had a very nice conversation about the various sites and developments around Asheville. Was like a free tour guide.

I know this was a long post but i want to personally thank Angel, Ron, Josh (Angel's team member) and the entire Fred Anderson Service department for getting me home safely. My kids appreciate it and so do I. An additional thank you to Andy (Service manager in Charleston) for his advice as well.

Arron was the best salesman I have ever dealt with. Hands down the easiest major purchase I have ever done. You have earned a repeat customer. Thanks Gary

Great inventory, excellent service and follow through! I have been looking for some specific features in a 4Runner that were hard to come by. Fred Anderson had the truck I wanted at a price that made it reasonable for me to travel from Florida to their dealership to make my purchase. Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

The service staff is excellent, especially ASM Aaron. I normally hate dealerships, but I have only had positive experiences here. I do most of my own work, but got their help diagnosing some issues on my car that require specialty electrical equipment. I would recommend anyone go to this dealership. I was very impressed with the shuttle service as well, got dropped off and picked up at work.

I have NEVER had a more positive experience at a car dealership as I had at Asheville Toyota!
Our salesman, Aaron, was so helpful and went way out of his way to answer questions and concerns. If he said he would call us, he called us,.
We had a bit of an issue due to a lease up North, but he took care of it, with minimal effort from us.
Kathy, in the finance department was LOW PRESSURE, which, anyone having ANY experience with these departments, knows that that is not the norm. Fastest paperwork we have ever filled out concerning a car!
The nice young lady who out-processed us, her name is Whisper, went over everything to make sure we understood all the new systems, that were not on our past car. Very nice and knowledgeable.

It was the FASTEST NO HASSLE (at all) Car Purchase/Paperwork we have ever done!

I say this with 100% sincerity, if ALL dealerships were like Asheville Toyota, NO one would have an issue going to a car dealershipthey made it friendly and FUN!!!
    Thanks Asheville Toyota!

I've always been happy to take my car to Jim Barkley's to get services done. Fred Anderson Toyota is a different story. This morning I went to get my oil changed, which I had an appointment for. There were at least 10 cars ahead of me. When I was finally helped, I had been told that the wait time was going to be longer than usual because of the first come, first serve customers. I was then lectured on making appointments before any of my visits to make things go faster. Again, I HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT. After an hour and a half of waiting for a simple oil change, I asked for the status of my car. It took them a minute to find where it was, then said it was being brought up. 15 minutes later, I saw my car being parked, but waited even longer because the paperwork had not been sent through. 2 hours for an oil change is ridiculous, and being told the wait would be longer because of the people who didn't make appointments is even more ridiculous. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone in town.

It has been a nightmare since my Dad's car being dropped off at the Toyota Dealership in January. Due to poor and unresponsive customer service we received from them, we had to hire an attorney to help us. During the past 5 months, we can barely get an answer from them. Today, they simply told us that our car is no longer at the shop which this is IMPOSSIBLE and they do not want any part of the car and not even to fix the car. I am completely fine to have our car fix at somewhere else with better service and labor fee, however, i am totally dissatisfy with their customer service and will never return there for any service. In my option, language barrier and changing ownership should not be the excuses to the customer.

Was great as Jim Barkley Toyota. Anderson Auto Group not reputable at some other locations. Only time will tell if they deserve your business.

If they start adding all the "dealer installed options" like they do at other locationsThen time to move on to another Toyota dealership.

I brought my 2012 4Runner in a few weeks ago for an oil change and after waiting almost 3 hours, I was told that it was taking so long because the skid plate was so rusty that it took them over an hour just to get it off. I asked if it was so bad that it needed to be replaced and they said that it did not. A few weeks later, my windows were down and I was in a quiet area and I noticed a flapping sound coming from the front of my car. I brought it back into the dealership and they told me that a couple of the bolts on the skid plate were so rusty that they had broken off and that the skid plate was hanging down a little bit and the flapping sound was coming from it flapping in the wind. I was told that I needed to make another appointment and that I would be responsible for the cost to replace the new bolts and that it could cost upwards of $200 depending on how long it took to get the skid plate off again. I do not understand why this was not something that was brought to my attention when the skid plate was already off during the oil change. After talking to another mechanic, they told me that Toyota likely broke the bolts in the first place. Maybe I got an inexperienced mechanic that day, but I would expect a lot more from a dealership. When I called Toyota to (calmly and respectfully) express my dissatisfaction with the way things were handled, I was quickly cut off and then transferred to someone else who offered no apology or desire to understand what had happened. All that did was reaffirm that this is definitely not a place I want to give my business to and I will be sure to pass this along to all of my friends and family with Toyota's. I will not be going back and felt the need to share my experience with others.

Great service, excellent prices. I own a Tundra and my wife, a Corolla sport, both purchased at Fred Anderson Toyota. The name might have changed, but the same people are still there, providing an amazing experience. People need to remember, what made Jim Barkley Toyota so good was the people working there. The people haven't changed so that the experience will stay the same.
