We tasted a couple beers and really enjoyed them. We will have to come back when we aren’t just passing through. It was a nice break from the road for us and the dogs!

Great beer, and selection. Live music is common, love the staff, indoor and outdoor areas, dog and kid friendly.

This is one of the best outdoor venues in NC, if not the best in the South East (per capacity). You sit Nestle in the Swannowa valley, Pisgah Brewing Co. has been doing this thing since 2005, they still have the same principal as they started with, “Treat yourself” and “We all Drink downstream”. These quotes are the way the Brewery wants to think. In the beginning Pisgah used to have people come out and share what they made with the public. They were always conscious of what they put in their beer. Thus always using local support
Sources(meaning using local coffee and chocolate companies). One of the only breweries that uses whole leaf hops. Therefore, This is one of the only breweries in the area that did not follow the mainstream model of what you should do with a brewery. Pisgah stays true in in fast moving industry to what they want to do. I am not going to preach about how wonderful this place is. Those that make the venture outside of Asheville can vouch for me. So if ever in Asheville, make the trip out to Pisgah. Who knows who you might run into. Cheers to 12 years of making it happen

I really liked it. Bartender was super friendly. I feel like they have a beer for everybody. They have a few and wine choices for those who don't drink beer. Odd location, pretty cool atmosphere.

One of the OGGs along side Highland. Amicable staff. Basic food truck (Decrepit Old Geezer Sausage Co.) outside most nights.

Tourists are invited to tour the brü haus.

Pisgah Brewing's most remarkable feature is an outdoor summer concert venue, repleat with stage & vast acreage.

Ultra crunchy granola vibes abound; very kid friendly by day.

Nightly live music may seem redundantunless Bob Weir is your daily cup of tea, get a growler & bounce.

We visited Pisgah Brewing on a cold Saturday and had a great experience hanging out. The tap room is the perfect environment to catch up with old friends and have good conversation. The barkeep recommended several options to us by mixing two different beers. Very tasty beer and would highly recommend to a friend.

Live music, often free, nearly nightly while it's warm - and continuing through the winter, just less frequently. Great live music, too. Pisgah has an indoor stage and an outdoor stage for the summer months, and they bring in some fantastic musicians. This is my favorite place to see live music in the Asheville area. They have a superb beer selection, a couple great local ciders and even non-alcoholic root beer. Friendly place to go, a true dead-head vibe. Dog friendly inside and out, you're welcome to bring food from outside and there's usually a food truck on music nights.
