Went to Theatre Bizarre here. Such a grand setting for such a fun event.
The whole giant building is remarkable in it's fine detail.
I was truly in awe just being there.

My son and his fiancée got married this past weekend and had their reception here. It was a memorable event! The ballroom was vintage and gorgeous, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was also excellent! I would highly recommend it! Thank you to all at Masonic Temple for a great experience!

Amazing place! I went here for Theatre Bizarre, and what an awesome experience that was. The building itself is massive and has many hidden places and crazy cool architecture.

Super cool place. Staff was kinda hit or miss. Had to deal with some lady that's trying to tell me I can't be on the balcony cause I have a "floor ticket" so I had to find another way up to the balcony. Luckily there is like 5 ways to get to it and the other people working were not assholes. Cool venue, decent staff, had a good time at Odesza.

Such a gorgeous building. Exceptionally magical when transformed for Theatre Bizarre. A can't miss if you have never been. Highly recommend this venue for any concert also. A true Detroit gem.

The temple is amazing. I went for theatre bizarre which was a pretty interesting time. I would love to come back to just explore the temple and admire the architecture. All the rooms are beautiful.

While the venue was beautiful for a concert, it definitely has its drawbacks. To begin with, there was a long line that went out the door of the venue and it wasn't clear if it was the entry line or for will call or something similar. It ended up being the line to get in and pass through metal detectors. Once inside, the venue was pretty cramped. The lines for merchandise and drinks/snacks overlapped and there wasn't much breathing room. The seats in Section B22, Row L still provided a nice view, but they were very hot. I'm not sure whether it was due to the close proximity of the ceiling or just the cramped quarters and fall weather, but I do not recommend wearing anything more than a t-shirt. A concert at the Temple is worth going to for a great show, but you should be prepared for a unique experience.

The building was amazing. I took a tour and learned about the construction and some of the history of the building. It was really neat. One note: a couple of the tour guides were a little ridiculous. Very impatient and talked down to the customers. Acted like they were superior or something. Really dumb. They were knowledgeable though.

Super interesting building on the inside and a great space to see a concert, which is why I visited the Masonic Temple. If you get bored waiting for the a mediocre opener at the beginning of your concert experience, take some time to stare at the beautiful ceiling for 15 minutes. I also received exquisite bathroom service. There were ladies guiding the line, letting pregnant ladies cut to front, doling out soap and (the good) paper towels, and offering us gum, tampons, and candy before we left. I felt like a damn QUEEN. Would return for the ceilings and bathroom services alone.

What a great concert venue! Amazing architecture on the outside and ornamental decorations on the inside. Super close to a lot of other attractions in the city and easy to a park at MGM then walk over. I came a couple minutes late to a concert and had trouble finding my seat and was helped by several employees on different levels to get to the right area then escorted by flashlight to my seat as the theater was already dark. The fancy old-fashioned theater really added to the performance and made everything feel nicer. There were even bathroom attendants with towels and treats and of course, metal detectors upon arriving. Great venue that I look forward to returning to!

Not bad acoustically, but I was in the balcony. The PA system is state of the art, the roof could use some baffles to keep the sharp snares from bouncing. Security for Nick Cave was terrifying and slightly rude. For the venue and the crowd there was way too much crowd control in my opinion. I will go back but maybe not for a while.w

Decent drink prices at bars, building is in pretty okay shape. Location is a bit of a rough neighborhood, a couple panhandlers were hanging around before doors opened. Bathrooms are okay. Parking options aren't good for big events like concerts. While garages are under construction, be ready to risk it parking on the street or bringing cash to use a lot. Also, be wary of those that appear to sell parking but that aren't standing in an actual lot with others. We found someone giving out tickets on the street, willing to "give a discount", then give incredibly vague directions about a lot a block or two away that didn't exist.

Art deco feeling, areas are divided in six stories expression individualism in design. Each room has a purpose you may imagine. It's a great trip just to walk around. Even more, acoustic is fantastic.

From my experiences here it's a great venue and hosts a lot of cool events. Just be prepared for the panhandlers/homeless people that hang out at the park across the street from the front door(which are harmless, that is as long as you obviously don't disrespect them). All in all great place.
