Very friendly attentive staff. Great sunsets and view of the water. Restaurant food is good & drinks nicely priced.

This hotel/resort is an oasis you need to experience. I spent hours trying to find a room out on St. Petersburg beaches, trying not to be in a traffic accident because it was absolutely chaotic and congested, without luck. No pets allowed in all 8 places. Then remembered Magnuson! Great rates! Great staff! Pets allowed! Very little traffic via to shopping and business! Beautiful setting on intercoastal within eyesight of Skyway Bridge. Very private and has enough amenities on premises that you don't have to leave resort at all.

Good location for us to use very near daughters condo. Easy access to main highways, Publix, restaurants. Quiet and beds were very good. Nice views of water and birds. Fair price.

This is place is awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk went over and above to make us happy. We had the best room in the place. We brought our boat with us so they made sure we got a room close to the marina. We had a beautiful view and the room was spotless and newly updated. We also went with another couple and they made sure we were able to get connecting rooms. We will definitely will be back and very soon. Already planning our next trip. We live close by but know we have found a real gem and our new special get away.

This place is a dump! Looks great on the outside and online but inside the rooms smells, there were lots of hair on the beds (we had 2 queens), there was a stain on the sheet, and more! The molding on the ground was coming off and I think that's one of the reasons it smells in the room. Everything in the room was so old and DINGY! We asked for clean bed sheets to spread on our beds because of the stains and hairs. $144 per night they definitely ripped us off. It should be $44 motel!!

It's a beautiful hotel saw lots of differennt animal even dolphins close to the shore lots of pelicans.and we are going back for the third time after the winter and close to are family location.looking forward to different things just a great hotel.the nights were beautiful the moon was over the ocean very cool

Wonderful pool area and very friendly staff. Rosemary was very pleasant with us weary travellers after an 11 hour drive. This is my first review. I normally don't bother, however there were so many bad reviews for the property, I wanted to give it a fair shake. When I contacted the manager regarding recent reviews he offered a full cancellation without charge, but requested we view the property before cancelling. The restaurant and bar area are nicely decorated. The food was good and reasonably priced for breakfast and dinner. The exterior is freshly painted and beach themed. The rooms were fair with comfortable beds and bedding and included a mini fridge. The bathroom needs updating-very worn and dated. Pool furniture could also benefit from an update. Otherwise nice stay.

BEDBUGS stayed there this weekend 3 days,2 nights. I will not go back. I'll start from the top. and I will love to hear from the hotel about the review I'm leaving.
Arrive on site early we rented 2 rooms online. I checked in at 11am that was nice the place didn't look like the pictures but I thought it's cool. We enjoyed the pools and spa. The rooms are not clean just picked up but I tried to over look it. We then went to eat at the restaurant in the lobby after waiting for someone to help us for about 5 minutes I seen the bar tender and he said sit anywhere don't worry about the sign. We did. after we talked and went to the bar for a server she came out of the other room. Took a drink order and left. I looked at the time. Everyone decided what we wanted to eat and NO DRINKS. 20 minutes we walked out of there. Dennys was great after that. The kids were going back to the pool when we returned. Then it was HOTEL FROM HELL. 2am I started itching looked around and found little black bugs and carried it to the front desk. You will not believe this the big guy seen it and knock it off and give me another room. Because of the bugs. I thought it was a better room and took it. NOW I have gotten home we all have been itching so I told a friend and he told me that the bites are BEDBUGS. I have been trying to sleep but the itching are to bad.response / report this review -

This is a nice cozy, family friendly resort. The front desk staff was very helpful. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. However, the shower pressure was too low/soft. The smell from the marina was bothersome but not their fault. The smell got better over the weekend. I didn't really take advantage of the amenities but they have a nice kid park, volleyball net, a hot tub and 2 swimming pools. The Tiki bar has an happy hour! I stayed for a family event under a group rate but I would recommend this resort for the right price. Overall, I would give them 3.5 stars.

If I could give them zero stars I might. We booked this online and the pics make it seem super nice. We were so excited to get here. I am so disappointed. The rooms are tiny and dated. I wouldn't say they are "dirty" but they are not nice either. It's basically a run down motel. I had already paid in advance for it otherwise I would not have stayed here. We came from out of state and I am not trying to drive around at 5pm looking for another place to stay. The "private beach" they advertise (which is a selling point for lots of people) is not even really a beach. It's dirty, nasty and tiny. Nobody in their right mind would step foot in that water. It basically some sand that trash gets washed up on. It's got a pretty view, but you can see that from lots of other places. The pools are decent and are open til like 10. I haven't tried the food yet but it is pricey. The room doesn't have a microwave and they expect you to pay $20 at the office to have one in your room. I guess that is their way of forcing you to eat at their food establishments. I am not impressed. This just looks like the kind of place you'd take home stow away critters from. there are ants in the bathroom but so far that's all I've seen. Don't fall for the pics they have posted. This place doesn't really look like that. and the staff is not very friendly. Stay far away from this place. I talked to several other guest tonight while at the pool and they all said the same thing. The "beach" is what got them and they were all disgusted as well. Do waste your time on this place.

Beds are nice. Room is clean. Bathroom is clean. Tv is big enough. No free breakfast sucks but the bar and beach are great. Staff is friendly. Price is amazing. 3 pools.

Not bad!! Clean room with great service from the hotel staff. Pets welcome. A little hidden from the main road, had to turn around to get there. Maintained grounds with bar and activities.

This is not a good Hotel! It stinks horribly like sulfurextremely outdated and NO microwaveWhen me and my husband first booked our room, they told us we would have a beachfront view..Well, when we arrived they placed us way across from the beach view and in some dump. The bathroom looked like my grannies bathroom in her trailer. It smelled so bad. So we asked if we could change to a different room, so they gave us a better view but have to pay $5 dollars to use a microwaveWe will not be staying here again that's for sure..Especially for the price we paid. The only thing we enjoyed at this hotel was the pool. Other than that, not a good place to stay.

Beautiful location with view of the Skyway Bridge. Older hotel and well maintained. Two pools and a jacuzzi. White sand beach. Docks and moorings for boats. The staff is excellent, friendly and very hospitable. It doesn't feel like you are near a large city even though you are just minutes away. Jet ski and boat tours available. This has become our number one staycation location.

Visiting from Chicago and needed a place to sleep for the night. Since family was staying here decided to just book for the night. Its about 1am when we finally get to check the room out. The first room we went to smelled like raid bug spray. It was so strong. Was accommodated and moved to another room. Cool. Finally get to sleep and at 9am they decided to cut grass right outside our sliding door small patio area. Then housekeeping comes knocking asking to clean the room. Really? I could have went to a better hotel for the price we paid.
