The stay here was decent, for the money. The room was updated and seemed clean. When I got to my room though, it was 58°F! The heater was off, and it took a couple hours for the room to warm up to about 70°F. In the meantime, there's nice-looking imitation hardwood floors throughout, but they stayed cold until my departure in the morningeven with socks on! Comfy bed, but the room was overall not very cozy (I wish there was carpeting). Most the bathtowels were old and had spots on them, along with past guests' hairew. It seems like they're trying, but I'll find a nicer place to stay next time I'm in Macon.

Boy oh boy did I get more than I bargained for. Not only did my stay at Magnuson go smoothly but they offered free shuttle service to and from Applebees! The driver even had 3 long island iced teas that he charged to some poor Joe's room! Anyway, I hit the room with a black light and found nothing that made me spew chunks. The carpet looked like it had really been nice, economy grade, hotel rug at some point in the past. My bed was nice and rippled and the sheets crispy like stale tortilla chips. Other than the occasional banging on my door throughout the night and a fistfight in the parking lot it was nice and quiet peaceful if you will. The continental breakfast consisted of tuna salad and zesty dill pickle cubes on toothpicks. Would I stay here again? You bet your hairy loaves I would!

The rooms were nice. Large for the price. Breakfast was good but limited. Staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the bar soap they had. It was plastic feeling and didn't lather.

A good night's sleep for a good price. It isn't a resort so don't expect resort amenities. If you need a good clean place to rest while traveling at a good price then this is the place. I couldn't be more pleased.

This place is great whoever set it up thought about making it a home away from home everything you could think of and need is here in the room. Staff is awesome very friendly and considerate of your needs and wants. Manager is so friendly and take care of your needs. Defiantly come back .

It's clean, inexpensive, and has a decent breakfast spread. Rooms are large and beds are comfy. On top of that, it is consistent - I have been coming here a few times a year for almost 4 years, and it's always reliable.

Pool is usually open, and the small fitness center is good. I'm actually surprised it's a 2/5 star hotel - I've been in many worse 3 star places.

Not a lot around the hotel, and a little odd the way you have to drive in, but the hotel itself was nice. The A/C did take a while to cool down the room. It was probably around 80 degrees when we arrived, and we turned it on and went to the pool. When we came back, it was in a comfortable range, but still not as cool as we'd like it. It eventually did get nice and chilly overnight.

We're here in Macon, having started from NJ 2 days ago. We've stayed at 2 prior hotels and this is by far the most pleasant surprise!!! The property is clean and VERY well appointed. We were just commenting on the "little" things that mean so much to travelers. 3 large towels in the bathroom plus an extra roll of toilet paper. The refrigerator and microwave are set in a very nice cabinet. At each of the prior hotels, the microwave was sitting on top of the refrigerator and not very stable. We went to get ice, and there is a washer and dryer by the vending machines! SUCH a useful item! Plus, the soap is right there in an dispenser The room is freshly painted and the furniture is spotless - it looks brand new. The prior properties had chairs that were stained and I wouldn't even sit in them. I would highly recommend this property. A VERY good value ESPECIALLY for the price!!!

Unfriendly desk staff, rooms poorly lit and in mild disrepair. Ran out of hot water during a short shower. No hair dryer in the room. They brought one, and it broke almost immediately. Parking felt unsafe. Breakfast was poor. Way overpriced for the condition. Will not return.

You can get some places on a great budget, I've gotten rooms on a great special. This was not it. Dirty carpet. Room smelled. I forced myself to sleep from exhaustion. But seriously bad. I thought it was a budget hotel running a special like comfort inn, its more like motel 6. Stay away.

All and all it was a smooth stay. The heat was quick to warm the room and when we had a bit of an accident the staff was quick to help and make everything better. I had a rough week on the road and this was my first enjoyable stay of all the places I overnighted at. Wish I had stayed here my other nights as well. Breakfast was filling and diverse enough for the price of my night. Thanks to the staff for a swift check in and check out.

This is a hidden gem. It's not a fancy hotel, but it is a great value for the price. The room was extremely spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was courteous. There was hot breakfast, biscuits and gravy. The best part was the shower. It was like a hot fire hose. I will be back here any time I drive through here.

I started staying here when traveling from Cincinnati to Florida recently and have been pretty happy with my stays. Staff is very pleasant hotel is clean, looks fairly new or at least renovated. Bed was comfortable, water pressure in the shower was great. Room had a bed, desk, coffee table and a small sofa which is always a plus for for me. Not much directly around (shopping, eating, etc.) but for just one night it's not a big deal. I will continue to stay here and would not hesitate to recommend staying here.
