My husband and I stayed in one of the suites and it was clean and looked amazing. The front desk was very helpful and gave good recommendations. I wasn't a fan of the people who pushed discounted tickets and stays if we paid that day. The guy even said that he work on commission and needed the sale. That showed me he was more focused on the sale instead of our wants. Aside from that, it was wonderful.

More rooms need a face lift, wish there were coffee makers in room. Fridge/microwave would be nice too. There are some areas that need a good cleaning, dust has settled into piles in the corners of empty display areas, and nobody notices or cares. Details like that don't get missed at other hotels. Overall, it was worth the price paid - got a great deal for 6 nights with a Southwest flight package. Located at far end of strip so be prepared for a bit of travel if exploring the area.

Love the Luxor. Its beautiful and convenient to reach from Mandalay Bay. We didn't stay at the Luxor but we visited it several times and tried some of the food, particularly loving the shops right outside of the Luxor. Our favorite is Fat Tuesdays which we went to several times. They also have a very helpful desk for planning events and shows and helping find the right one for you.

I really like all of the things inside of the hotel like the eating places, the entertainment, the convenience of drinks establishments, Etc. However the one thing that really bothered me was there was no coffee machine inside of the hotel room. I feel like that is an essential piece of having a hotel room. There was also a lot of construction going on so some of it was pretty loud and I could hear it from even inside of my room. I do understand that they need to do it though so I'm not sure how else he would get around that and I appreciate that they're making some upgrades. My hotel bathroom was amazing. The bathtub is really big and has armrest in its and perfect for taking a nice relaxing hot bath. I was super impressed with how friendly all the staff were at every establishment that I visited within the Luxor. If the price is right this would be somewhere that I would stay again. I just wouldn't spend a lot of money on it.

Stayed here this past weekend for 2 nights for my husband's birthday. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice and CLEAN! Upon request to change the room from being in one of the towers to the pyramid we were blown away, not only did they move us as requested, they moved us to one of the higher floors with an awesome view! My husband was so happy. What a great trip! We will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel is nice but the warm stayed warm and was hard to cool down. The sink in the bathroom was clogged, and also there was used soap in the bathroom. Well at the hotel the pool was closed, and was never informed and nothing was offered to the guest, in the warm weather the pool is used to cool off and relax so that was a disappointment. Also on a info packet in the hotel states can order room service from the cafe but no menu or anything. What also happened to complimentary breakfast, especially with how much they charge for a room. Other than that the room is nice, and the staff was friendly.

Was an okay place to stay. Rooms were old, but apparently it was better than the other rooms that were way older. Open one of the draws next to bed and there was old, large bags of candy with the alarm clock. There were no plugs near the bed to plug your phone except either on the other side of the room or underneath the large office desk. Bed sheets had weird stains on one side of it, but the other side was good to sleep on. Otherwise, very close to other hotels as any hotels on the Strip and plenty of options to keep you out of the room.

Beautiful hotel, servers are a little snippy on the casino floor, but overall experience was fantastic. Excellent service from concierge, front desk and housekeeping. Very enjoyable casino. Fantastic food ! Room was very spacious but lacked a few of the standard amenities like a coffee pot or small refrigerator, but beautiful non the less. Breathtaking views of the mountains. Magnificent shows.

As hotel rooms go, the one at the Luxor was more comfortable than most. The decor around the resort is distinctive and mostly fairly accurate within a scope of about 1500 years of early Egypt. Staff were unfailingly polite and efficient. The single downside: during our four night stay, there were two unannounced and reasonably prolonged water shutdowns, the latter being followed by an additional period without hot water. There should have been proactive action - or at a minimum, notification - provided to guests of this interruption in service.

I simply have no words to describe the EXCELLENT SERVICE provided to guests and people fleeing the shooting on the strip. Many of the people they helped were not staying at the hotel, yet Security escorted everyone to safety and hotel workers assembled to provide everything we needed while locked down in the basement of the hotel. Although we were guests there, they ensured our safety by allowing us to hunker down in basement level. They provided water, food, blankets and pillows, and even medication. Luxor has always been my favorite hotel on the strip due to great service, good casino, clean rooms with great views, and easy access to strip and adjoining resorts. This event however, cements my opinion that this is definitely the best hotel.

I visited this hotel on a pretty windy day so the outside was Dusty, but once inside the Hotel was surprisingly nice. The staff was nice and helpful the layout of the hotel was not confusing, although I feel like the parking could be better arranged. I came here to see the Bodies exhibit and gamble a little bit. I manage to do both and I was satisfied with my time spent at Luxor.

This place is an excellent place to visit.. As a first time visitor I would visit again. The rooms are clean. The pool area give you a few choices to enjoy your adventure will staying.. The reason is there's not just one pool, you have several pools to choose from Customer service top notch.. Come have fun enjoy the family, your crew and enjoy the Luxor.

We came here for the UK, a group of 9 lads and we loved it. All the staff was friendly and walking into the foyer was just eye opening. We upgraded into a room with two Queen size beds a bath to soak in by the window and a separate room to sit in and chill. You could literally play tennis in the bathroom it's that large. All for an extra $29. Totally worth it when you ask me.
Yes it did smell like smoke down in the casino, but doesn't all of Vegas? The staff was second to non, we booked a night helicopter flight and found us a proper English pub for the champions league final.
All I can say is I'd stay again in a heartbeat.response / report this review -

Very roomy casino, spacious rooms, and well maintained. Casino smells of tobacco smoke; Hard Rock Hotel covers the odor much better. Rooms have a neutral odor though (:
As for cleanliness, I've gone out in the morning, noticing a used room service tray in the hallway; I've come back late in the evening and it was still there. Disrupted the appearance of decent facilities.
Overall though, a solid experience. Fourth floor rooms are decently priced for the size.response / report this review -

The Luxor is a pretty nice hotel to stay at if you don't plan on doing a lot of sight seeing near the strip. The room is a bit small with no fridge. (They did offer an upgrade at check-in. But an extra $20 a night for just a fridge? No thanks.) And a mediocre view. It is also pretty far from the heart of the strip. It is easy to get around if you want to visit nearby (Excalibur/MGM Grand/New York, New York) but anywhere further than that is a fairly far walk. The beds are comfortable, dining is okay and the casino has a good layout. However, the pool closes at 7PM. Which is one of the main reasons I'm rating this a 3/5 instead of a 4 or 5. Even staying open until 9 or 10 would make a huge difference. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are here on business or other matters other than sight seeing. Otherwise, there are other hotels with similar pricing in better locations that I would recommend before the Luxor.
