Great staff! Pam and Miranda were extremely helpful and made sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The horse riding competition going on in the arena was fun to watch. The pool was not overcrowded. The buffet was great and the waitress we had was efficient and friendly. The late night steak and eggs at the restaurant was good and the waitress was quick and very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't do too bad on the machines either!

We've stayed here a few times, and it never disappoints. We love the nice rooms and gift shop with tons of great items. Slots and bingo are favorite activities for us So much to do, you never have to leave. The pool is beautiful and clean. We love the hot dog stand for a very cheap lunch option. The staff are all so nice, too. Can't wait for our next visit.
There is a free shuttle to/from the airport. Great perk!

The hotel rooms are really nice they do have smoke free rooms as well as entire floors. I would not recommend eating the the buffet. The cafe on the other had serves great meal any time of the day. The casino has an over over intoxicating smell of smoke all over the casino floor. I wish they would have a better ventilation system that would use an exhaust to remove some of the smoke.

I love this casino and hotel. Uber over from the airport and you never have to leave again till ready to go home. So much to do there. It’s like it’s own city in one place. Great restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Rooms are nice and clean. I go there twice a year and will continue. Try it. You will like it!!

Great place to go to place bets. Hotel rooms are very nice. Always great there.no complaints here. They do not make u get up and leave if you are sitting at a slot machine, and you are not playing, like most casinos do. Also have free parking. Cute arcade and bowling for kids next to the theatre. Free comedy show every friday at 1230amso Saturday morning.its called, Dirty at 30, so they use a lot of adult jokes. Great for locals and tourists.

An older resort and somewhat far away from the center of the action. However, that's great if you're looking for a more relaxed Vegas experience. The pools and hot tubs don't get overcrowded. The table game buy-ins are low. Parking is free and above-ground. There are many activities on site. The rooms could use a style update so until something more contemporary is available here, 4stars.

Loved staying at South Point this past summer. The frozen drinks by the pool were amazing. I loved that the pool was never packed. There are so many fun things to do here and great places to eat. The rooms were very nice as well.

Nice hotel..I used to work front desk here when it first opened and it was a cool place to work with a nice atmosphere. The management was great and the owner of the place is a really nice guy which makes it that much better. The customers were pretty laid back tooa lot of cowboys and cool people. Dining options are great and the place is always really clean. I recommend South Point.

I stayed here several nights. The hotel and casino could use an update, but the room and bathroom were incredibly clean and quiet. This hotel is further from The Strip than it looks on a map and the shuttle service is a little strange and costly. Still, there are several options for restaurants here, which I appreciate, and there's a theater and bowling alley. I'd recommend staying here to anyone not looking to be by the strip, but to still enjoy the Vegas experience. Also, the pool area is nice, but the water was too cold to enjoy.

Classy place with fantastic hotel beds! We live just an hour outside of town, and often times get a room here when we know it will be a long night. Its off the touristy path so the patrons are usually locals to the region. The hotel staff is wonderful, the drinks are stiff, the amenities are great, and the beds are great. This is our go-to when in Vegas for the night.

Note, their Saturday night show Spazmatics are so much fun! I recommend this show if you like 80s music!

    *****review for casino only*****
They still have lots of video poker machines and still paying 9/6!!! Money does come out of them too!!! For the penny lover, there are plenty of those machines too. Found bartenders to be super nice here. Very busy casino with locals and tourists all having a good time.

This is the best hotel in Las Vegas. It's not on the strip but it's close enough you can be on it in a very short time. The rooms are large as well as the bathroom. They have a large pool and spa. The Casino is great also. There are many places to choose from to eat. The best is the Coronado Cafe. They have breakfast specials starting at midnight that are great food and great prices.

Had to be here for a conference, which lasted a few days. Large conference areas, which were great. Casino floor could use an update but liked the layout of everything. Rooms were very large and very reasonably priced. Drinks were inexpensive for being in Vegas, although seems they do not staff properly at the bars, as you are always trying to get the attention of the bartender for drinks. The cocktail ladies that walk the floor definitely need updated uniforms as they are NOT flattering and they look like they are trying to be a 70s playboy bunny.

We chose the South Point because it was the site of the USBC Open Championships which we were participating in. It is a great place with a lot to offer. The rooms are spacious & clean and the beds were comfortable. It is a ways from the strip, but they offer a shuttle at a reasonable price. It is also right on the city bus line, so that is also an option to get you to and from the strip and/ or downtown. There are a number of restaurants to choose from. We ate at Steak & Shake, Coronado Cafe & Garden Buffet. They were all very good and the servers were friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
