We took my vehicle Lou's for an exhaust mainfiold and exhaust leak repair. A week after repair we had to take the truck back because it wasn't fix and they put on a second mainfiold free. Since then I've had to get the O2 sensor replaced because they didn't put the sensor back in the manifold so it got damaged. My catalytic converter is needed replaced (not related to Lou's fix). I went to the dealership this time and they said when the manifold was replaced they did not replace the heat sheild or a piece of pipe that connects to back exhaust which has a flange on it they need to use to repair the catalytic converter. That piece is costing me $400. Lou's refuses to acknowledge their part in this even though they are the only ones who have touched the manifold and exhaust before the O2 sensor was replaced. Buyer beware and STAY AWAY! (This was the Derry location.)
Extremely inaccurate with their time estimations for the job I gave them. Staff was also disrespectful when speaking to me. Would not recommend
Wanted to try a better flowing muffler on my vehicle. Went into the office and was told to look for 'Eric'. Went back out to the shop 'looking for 'Eric'. Found 3 or 4 'technicians' mulling about talking to one another. They said to go back to the office to find Eric. I could already see this wasn't going well and after I was quoted $250.00 for a knock-off performance muffler and 30 minutes labor by one of the 'techs'. Tried to negotiate the price as they weren't busy doing anything and some money is better than no money but I was told I needed to speak with a 'boss' for a better price. Heck, I never even found Eric.
Needless to say, I found a better price with better customer service elsewhere. I'm guessing this store is not the best example of a Lou's franchise.
Really disappointed. Went to get my car inspected and I was given such bogus reasons as to why my car wouldn't pass. Such as, a small rust spot on my hood the size of a dime. Mind you that spot has been there for years and she's passed inspection every time. The mechanic also claimed "he could hear an exhaust leak" that's like saying you can "hear cancer in lungs" he advised me to buy a new car. He also claimed they've had under cover people bring vehicles there just to "check" they're inspecting vechicles correctly. Why in the world would you feel the need to share that information with me? It surely doesn't give me much faith in their abilities. I hardly ever leave comments on Google. Negative ones at that. However, my experience was very disappointing and I highly suggest if you come here for an inspection get a second opinion about their diagnostics. Since it's based on "feeling" and not facts.
I recently called Lou's for a quote for an exhaust, on my Ford F-350, which I recieved within minutes. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and also asked for them to preform an inspection. I dropped my truck off the next day for the work to be completed. They contacted me in the early afternoon telling me the job was completed. I was extremely satisfied with their customer service and workmanship. Great Job Guys!
The shop did a great job fixing my muffler.
I went to get new tires and the mechanic found a five inch hole in my sub-frame. How did Lou's miss this when inspecting my car? This hole did not form over night.
These guys are great and super fast! Exceptional work and an entirely pleasant experience. Definitely recommended!
They are the best for real. It took them half an hour to change my exhaust and fix my car. The price was really good with warranty for tow years.. Thank you so much. And i will always deal with you.
Fantastic service. Won't bring my cars anywhere else for exhaust work or state inspections. In and out in no time. The owner (Johnny) very very nice and reasonable. The manager Erik explains everything in detail and walked me through every step of the process. All the staff is just amazing and very pleasant shop to be in. They treat you like a friend and not an off the street customer. Thank you guys and don't change the environment.
