DO NOT USE THEM!!! Called to have my windshield replaced on Tuesday. Got off the phone with them to confirm no one else had my windshield in stock. Called back a short time later to go ahead and order it. They told me ok they would go ahead and take care of it, and would receive it in 3-4 business days then would call to schedule the appointment. Well Friday, I received a call that they still had not ordered my windshield because they needed me to call my insurance with them to confirm it was ok. SO THREE DAYS LATER I FIND OUT THEY HAD NOT IN FACT TAKEN CARE OF IT AS THEY HAD PROMISED ON THE PHONE. Needless to say, I was livid. So now I was out an additional three days (with my car undriveable and having to be shuttled to work/borrow cars) because there was a "misunderstanding" with the guy who told me he would take care of it. When I told my husband of the circumstances, he asked who I had used and said I should have never used them in the first place because they are known for mistakes, poor customer service and taking longer than promised.
Moral of story: USE SOMEONE ELSE!!! I had called Safelife on Tuesday and they did not have the part in stock. and gave me the same wait time. By the time I called them back on Friday due to the terrible customer service of K & K, they had already received a new one in, not because I had ordered it, but just to have it in stock.response / report this review -

I've used them in the past with good results. Today I have been placed on hold. 15 minutes so far. I just want to order a piece of glass. May need to go elsewhere

I needed a slider window glass replaced. It's an old window. I was quoted about $200. Seemed crazy to me. I mean it can't be much more for a whole new window. So I took the slider out myself and took out old broken glass. Took the slider frame to the store and asked how much to just cut and replace glass. $45. Put the order in for it on Monday they said it will be done Thursday the latest. For something that takes no time at all. But I said ok. Well, Friday rolls around and no one calls to tell me my glass had been ready. I had to call Friday morning to find out it has been ready. I've been waiting with a board in my window and it's cold with kids in the house. AND they did an awful glue job, very poor craftsmanship. Very disappointed. When time comes to replace all old windows in my house it will NOT be with these guys. Unorganized and unprofessional.

Told me they'd fix my window on Thursday. Guy comes with the wrong glass and says He'll be back the next day. Goes home early the next day and no phone call to reschedule. I called around 3 oclock and receptionist tells me they cant have anyone out there till monday. Zero compensation offered for their poor customer service.

Order a piece of glass on Wed. Its now sat.and no glass or phone call.went to anouther glass co. Got glass in thirty min. Check around peeps
