All around great place to visit I always spend my time on the outside never been inside the building itself. Plenty of fun on the trails and the views are spectacular! Usually always easy to get to and a fairly decent Trail to start out on for novice people and little ones.

we just visited there end of February ride to the mountains were breathtaking most of them were covered in snow . mansion museum grave and many points to view cars can go easily and no parking issues.. considerable place to visit

I've taken my kids here a few times now just to get out of the house. They really like the animal display inside as well as the reading nook.

There are some trails outside the center that we briefly walked but only briefly.

The entire place is well kept up and the staff is super friendly. It's nice to go up when it's hot down in the valley as the elevation keeps the temps down up there.

Very well kept place with great views. There was plenty of parking, including accessible parking spots. I did not visit the Nature Museum, we were there to do some hiking. We chose to do the Meadows Loop and it was a great hike. The paths are well preserved and clear of debris. Great views of downtown Denver as well. I highly recommend this spot as well as driving a mile down the road to Buffalo Bill’s grave and lookout area.

Great place to stop to get information and do a little hike. Probably great for kids and families as the two hikes here are paved paths so very easy to navigate.

Beautiful new building but not a lot going on inside. They must have had "funds" they had to use on something or "funds" that were dog earred for this park. It just seemed a little out of place and a waste of funds that could have been better served on something else.

Came for the trails which are great for children or those with mobility issues. Good place to get outside and enjoy nature. The trails are nice and very easy to follow, but traffic noise and the sight of transmission lines in the park distract from the views.

Awesome nature center, and preserve. They keep very good care of this park. There are ample amounts of good hikes with great lookouts, but the only ones we found were out-and-backs (we prefer loops).

Nice facilities to get information from a ranger and also to find park maps. Yet, I would not really call this place a nature center as there is little educational value within the facilities. The trails and pathways outside the center provide excellent views of mother nature. Bathroom facilities were clean.

We love going up to Lookout Mtn Nature Center for picnics, a short loop and longer loop (1 hr: longer) and playing/exploring inside with our preschooler. It says :45 visits. We stay for 2-3 hrs.

This is a great place for an easy hike. Lot's of amazing views of Denver. The trails are open well before the center is open, so don't worry about showing up before opening time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful easy hike.

Lookout Mountain is already known for Buffalo Bill's grave, but it boasts the best views of Denver and Golden, but to mention the vistas of the Rockies. The visitor's center is a great addition to the already existing park and historical mansion on the premises. The on-site staff is quite help in identifying when and where certain species can be best viewed in the wild. The center also gives children a place to play and learn about the local wildlife. Complete with restrooms and a heated exhibit hall, this is a great place to start and end your Lookout Mountain adventure.

Great views. Not the best sunset location as the direct view is obstructed by the radio tower. But I but sunrise is Spectacular with the sun coming up over the city.

Love bringing out of town guests here. Great trails where you often see wildlife and a cute little museum that's always staffed by the friendliest and most informative people. I especially like that they have footage of wildlife that they've caught on camera showing in the lobby.

Beautiful scenery, adequate displays, nice observation post with great binoculars. Nicest thing about it is that it's at the top, so it's a good destination break after climbing the trail to get there. Just look for any of the trailheads coming up the east side of the mountain. Start as high as you like to make it easier. It's a beautiful hike up.
