I love this place. Super secluded campground out in the wilderness. You can't hear the road or cars on the highway. Quiet during the week, but really busy on the weekends. Sometimes there are large families that can't keep quiet, but that is not the campgrounds fault. Love this place and i will keep coming back.

Walk-in tent site was great. Only about 30 yards to site, huge bear box, and lots of space for kids to run around away from the road. More shade than we expected. Will be back!

I have fallen in LOVE with Colorado because of this place! We only seen chipmunks and colorful woodland Birds but came across many different animal tracks on our nature walk. I hope to come back!

We are very disappointed that the owners fired Gary and Ken. Gary and Ken bent over backwards for our family to insure we had everything we needed and were comfortable When we would visit the campground we would bring friends and family and would rent up to five sites. Camp was always kept clean and inviting. The host would patrol camp regularly and address any concerns. It is really too bad they are gone.

We went from Sunday to Tuesday and overall it was nice and quite. The locaton is beautiful and there are plenty of places to go hiking. My only complaint was that they don't seem to take care of the restrooms. They were both out of toilet paper by the end of Sunday and the men's room was disgusting according to my son and husband. I suggest that you bring your own toilet paper.

I stayed here for a night back in september. We planned on staying multiple nights but we had a terrible experience. All was well and serene we had a fire cooked out and then retired to the tent for the night around 130am some rowdy people pulled up into the campground and went to the spot next to us. they did not set up camp . they were there to drink and party they continued to drink and yell beligerantly until the sun rose when they left. they left the campground littered with bottles. it seemed to be over 5 people. nothing was done to stop it and e were to afraid that they might start a fight. where were the grounds keepers??? too expensive for them not to do something

Had a great experience there. Large sites. The site manager is great and keeps the place very clean. Couldn't believe how clean the "bathrooms" are. A bit of noise from all the atv's, but that was expected.
