One of my favorites in the US so far. Great landscapes and tons of wildlife spotting opportunities. The ranger's office was very helpful with what to do with the time we had in the park. Even if you're not doing any hikes, there are many smaller trails and drives in the park which can give you same amazing views. Go there at dawn or dusk and you might spot elk and moose !!

Best National Park in Colorado. Have visited more than a dozen times and will continue. Some of my most memorable hikes! Great all year round but be careful in the winter - I have lost trails in 3 feet of snow. Bring a compass!

One of the best places to go in Colorado. Majestic mountains, alpine lakes, high elevation roads. Make sure to do the hike to Emerald lake, the end is spectacular. Make sure to also do Trail ridge road, which goes up to 12,000 feet in elevation!

Bear lake is one of my favorite places to go on the weekend. It was covered over with snow today but with micro spikes rented outside the park and poles it is easy to navigate and enjoy. There are other trails that are longer which branch off from the bear lake trail. I highly recommend Alberta falls which is frozen over in the winter but still beautiful! It is a hike uphill to get to Alberta falls from fairly flat bear lake.

A Classic. Outstanding beauty, awesome endless trails for hiking, horseback riding and fishing! Unbelievable photo opts of peaks, tundra, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife. It's a treasure for sure. There are lots of people visiting the park, so you really need to embrace that, and get an early start, or visit in the off season, or something. Trail Ridge is a must, but don't forget to check out Highway 7, and hit Charlie Eagle Plumes and Distant Harbors along the way.

The park is beautiful, but the abundance of visitors can make enjoyment of the park a chore. People often block the roadway while viewing or photographing wildlife such as elk, deer, and moose. If you can go in on the west side and hike those less used trails, you can escape some of the crowds. Winter hiking is especially fun if you have warm clothes and is even better in the snow. Many of the waterfalls become crystal pillars that sparkle in the sun. When the rivers a creeks freeze, they make for natural slip and slides that speed you down the trail.

October is the perfect time to visit the park. In the summer its bumper to bumper and hard to see the animals. There are hiking trails for every level. If you just want to walk on a path around the many lakes you can do that. If you want to go to the top of Deer Mountain, that's another option.

Not all all what I had previously envisioned, but that does not mean that what I saw was disappointing. When compared to the big National Parks it can't compete but it is truly worth a visit if you're in the area. Beware of the crowds, if the park is busy certain areas will fill up early best plan would get to get there super early or come super late to hike the most popular spots.

We love Rocky Mountain National Park and have been going there for years. Park employees and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. The alluvial fan has changed a lot since the flood in 2013 so the climb is different than it used to be. Elk were bugling and aspen were colorful.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Even the drive to get here was incredible. Drove an hour and a half each way to get here, and would do it again in a heartbeat. There were many elk, which was awesome.

The park rangers were extremely competent and friendly. The roads and facilities were very well maintained. Nothing can beat driving up to the top of a mountain and looking out.

We are from out of state, but we thought it was absolutely beautiful!!! We went hiking and there are so many different trails to pick from that vary in difficulty and beauty. Many are connected so you can take different routes mid-hike. We started early and found that there were quite a bit of people by the time we were finished in the afternoon, so not a lot of wildlife. But we still loved it there!!!

Hiking here is excellent! If you're a beginner or veteran, it is perfect for anyone. Bear Lake and Alberta Falls are a must see. They are really busy, so getting there before 7:30am is highly recommended during the summer. Even though they are busy, it is still a lot of fun!

Must go before you die. This was so far the best hike I've gone on. The wildlife here are a site for soar eyes. When visiting it's best to take the shuttle into the park / pay twenty dollars for entry. The best spot to park at is Bear Lake. It is the last stop on the shuttle and you can see great things

Amazing. Plan to spend most of your day here. Parking is often tricky so getting there early pays off. Miles and miles of great hiking but also plenty of overlooks or picnic areas for families. Lots of history, wildlife and excellent views so bring a camera.

One of the most beautiful places in the world. Get out in nature, hike, and appreciate God's awesome creation. Easy to challenging hikes are available. Lakes, streams, snow covered mountains, woods, and more. 4.5 million visitors each year can't be wrong. Yet start early and pick some lesser traveled trails, and you won't see a soul for hours!
