Do NOT buy your car from this dealership. They will tell you one thing and then go back on their word. I have emails where they agreed to a price of a car then when I went in later that day, they said they couldn't honor that deal. Three separate people there have lied straight to my face. If that's the way they do business, where you can't trust them, no one should buy a car from here. Plenty of other Honda dealerships in town. "Closed on Sunday cause it's the right thing to do"What a joke. Maybe honor your word, that's the right thing to do.
We bought a new Odyssey over the weekend from Lindsay. I read a lot of reviews ahead of time so I went in expecting not to be pressured. I don't know what people were talking about in their reviews, because my husband and I definitely felt pressured. I get it though. They're a dealership, and they're paid on commission, so they're going to do whatever they can to make sure you drive out in a new car. I wish that they didn't have to stand right over us during decision making time though, and could have left to let us discuss.
They're a huge dealership, so they seemed to have a big selection, but they didn't have any base models of the Odyssey, and said that they wouldn't be receiving any in the foreseeable future. They never said how often they get them in in general though, and our dealer made a big deal about the fact that he'd have to pay to bring one in. After we'd agreed on a price however, they tacked on an extra shipping and handling fee because apparently they have to pay to bring any vehicle in. So either why make a big deal about it, or, more importantly, why try to hide the fact that you're going to tack on an extra grand.
I do appreciate $18 oil changes for the life of the vehicle though, and they certainly do their best to make you feel comfortable. They even have a nursing room for mother's and a museum and kids play area.
Leon Smith helped us out and was excellent. We came in just to see what our options was, he was very helpful and helping us get the answers we needed and if he didn't have it, we was able to find it for us. We ended up walking out with a brand new car and my family is very happy with it. It works out perfect with our needs. Thank you.
No better place then Lindsay Honda!! I drove 2 hours to buy a car at Lindsay Honda and it was well worth it. Great experience all around, easy to work with, great financing, and the Sales man Allen you really need him, Allen was just wonderful and gave us a tour, offered privacy so we could discuss what to do next, I will continue to have service at Lindsay and will purchase and recommend Lindsay Honda from here on out. Allen is the best Sale guy I know you made it well worth the drive, my hat is off to you sir. they should give you a score of 20, but they only go a 10 so Your the Best Allen it is a 10!!
Had a great experience with Ron Ball, great salesman who went out of his way to show us exactly the car we wanted to see. While we did not buy a car from him because of some life events that changed if we ever come back to Ohio he would be our first stop. We also met the owner who was very nice, it is so nice to see a dealership that has such a MASSIVE stock (it is CRAZY BIG) to have people as down to earth and thoughtful as Ron Ball!
Came here not highly interested in Honda's, but just looking for a cheap reliable car in the meantime of saving money for my dream car. Worked with sales rep Michael Houston, and ended up leaving beyond in love with my beautiful new Honda and wanting to keep it for many, many years. Michael was so kind, informative, patient (I'm so indecisive), and never once "pressured" me so he could make a sale and make money. He genuinely cared about me loving what I left with, and made sure I had everything I wanted. If you're going to buy a car, go to Lindsay Honda and work with Michael Houston. You won't be disappointed!
Got a lease from here on a Honda Civic Hatchback that I love. Employees were kind and helpful when my family was there, and pointed out the kid's play area for mine to burn some energy. They also hurried up near the end, as my husband mentioned I'd need to leave for work soon. Was very appreciated. If they are offering what I want next time I get a car, I would gladly do business here again.
Leon was a pleasure to work with! He very helpful and patient and was not pushy whatsoever. He was also very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were discussing and answered all questions in detail. I really appreciated how respectful and kind he was as it was my first experience shopping for a car of my own. I would absolutely recommend Leon to any friends who are car shopping!
Spent the better part of a week looking at new Honda pilots. Went back and forth on what model we would purchase and never felt pressured. The sales rep, Dave Dawes, was fantastic and said "no pressure - when you are ready to buy a car - we will be happy to help you make a decision".
The best part was the low pressure but very helpful nature of Dave - he was great.
I recommend Lindsay Honda and Dave Dawes to anyone who wants a great experience and also those who want to feel confident they receive a fair and honest deal.
This was my 3rd purchase with Lindsay Honda and they never disappoint me. They treat you like a human being and work hard to make sure all questions are answered and that you get everything you need. I was sad that my previous sales person was gone, but I met Michael Houston and he was great! Knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. Thanks!
Called ahead to schedule a test drive of a new Honda Odyssey. Get there and I get a nice enough salesman to help me. Did not seem super knowledgeable, but nice. It takes them 30 or 40 minutes to get the vehicle ready for a test drive. They have somehow misplaced the keys to the car. Very unorganized. So we finally get in the car and go for drive. That was fine. I tell the salesman we have couple deals worked out with other dealers. He says let me talk to my manager. I assume is the guy who sits perched like an eagle in the back of the showroom. Even looks like a bald 🦅. Then they send this old guy over. I don't know who he is in the dealership staff ranking. But I did use the restroom and he did not wash his hands. Right there shows what kind of person he is. Anyway, he tells me there is not deal to be made. That Toyota has more incentives to offer then Honda. I said okay, but I'm shopping for a Honda, Not a Toyota. He said I know. I bought a car from this place when they were up the road and called park. Great experience there. But I don't think the internet manager I dealt with then is here any longer. That is a shame. This new regime is a joke.
Otis J. Tate was wonderful in explaining the vehicle I purchased, was truly knowledgeable about the vehicle, was willing to listen to my desires and concerns, and worked with me to allow me to buy a vehicle in 2+ hours. There was no hassle, no mess, and no grief. Negotiations were smooth as a whole -- more than people associate with car sales. I really didn't have any negatives. If Otis' performance is any indication of what Lindsay Honda is, no one should ever worry about walking into that dealership and not leaving happy.
Wonderful experience with Zachary Letourneau! He is professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He took the time to answer all my questions. And even took the time to do some number crunching for me. I got there late on a Friday night and he took his time not to rush me through the process. The other Zach in finance helped me and he was awesome, as well! He explained everything well. The entire process easy! Thank you!!
The people here were super friendly and very professional! They were very well prepared and were able to answer any and all questions I had. Worked with me to accomplish my goal and to help me get the vehicle that I wanted! I was more than pleased with the overall customer service and experience. I would recommend anyone to go here over the other dealerships too because the vehicles were actually cleaned and detailed. Better cars and better prices. You wont be disappointed coming here! A solid 5/5 stars.
Everything was going really well as we interacted with the sales rep, Nikki Moore. We test drove the vehicle, signed papers, including the monthly rate on the financing of the vehicle. Then everything came to a grinding halt. We were told we had to see the "finance person" to sign the financial agreement . They took us to the waiting area. Then we WAITED for 1 1/2 hours..! What was that all about? Then we started to leave and forget buying the car and they finally let us know that they were down one finance person and it should only be a couple more minutes. Then we waited another 30 minutes before getting into the finance office. Really?! What kind of service is that? It took 4 hours to buy the used vehicle. So don't go to Lindsay Honda to buy a vehicle unless you want to spend a lot of time. I gave it 3 stars because until waiting for the financing department, everything was running smoothly.
