This place is old. And it shows but that didn’t bother me. The room was cute and adequate, and it’s super close to the port. It was right for our overnight stay. Breakfast was minimal but that didn’t bother us because we were going on a ship that morning. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were no face clothes or blankets for the bed. Other than that, I’d stay again for a night before a cruise.

If I could give this DUMP no stars I would. Dingy, dirty, unprofessional staff, rooms not secure, musty mildew smell throughout the hotel. I checked in and checked out in 30 minutes. I don't even think it's worth a short stay. Don't waste your time or money.

Run down facilty, no wash cloths or face towels, reception staff unfriendly, breakfast was toast and coffee, etc. Plussesclose to Bayside, Cruise ships, lower price. You get what you pay for.

I won't tear this place apart although some feel it should be torn down. It's very dated. They are making renovations. I see reviews saying they've seen lots of roaches. I haven't seen any. I feel like this was a room in Bates Hotel or a hideaway for Pablo Escabar. But all in all its in a good area with restaurants and shopping. The window unit a.c. worked very well. My view is away from the loud road but looks like a scene from TAKEN where Liam N. Was looking for his daughter. All in all its ok for a night or two and cheap compared to the other places nearby. It appears they are trying to bring it up a bit so the second star is for effort.

No parking, fairly clean rooms, fairly safe neighborhood, continental breakfast consisting of bread, but all in all a decent price for downtown murderville. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was fine. The price was reasonable and it had a convenient location. I did not like how the hotel had none of its own parking. Additionally, the hotel does seem old; many of the floors are crooked or warped.

We showed up to check into our rooms to find out that they had "accidentally" canceled one of our rooms. The man at the desk was very rude and unwilling to help. It took 2 hours to finally find a solution and even when a solution was found it was not ideal. The hotel is in dire need of remodeling. Literally looks 100 years old. The doors do not lock and the bathrooms are dirty. The place smells horrendous. If your thinking about staying here, don't! This is definitely not the place!!

You get what you pay for. The hotel is in a great location but the hotel needs major renovations. It has potential to be a grand hotel with the right investor. The continental breakfast was white bread and muffins. You had to wait on line for toaster oven. Juice could be purchased from vending machine. But coffee is available 24 hours. You must ask for microwave and fridge for the room as its not included or offered. You have not because you ask not at this hotel.

1st off, smallest room ever.
The staff was not friendly at all.
There was a hole in the side of the a/c.. I could literally see outside.
Rooms not updated and old looking. Spend like 10 or 15 more dollars and save yourself a headache.
Oh and the free breakfast is only bagels and pastries.. so if you wanted eggs & sausage you're out of luck.

This was the worst hotel I have ever visited. My friends were staying here. Lobby looks decent but the rooms are horrible.
They paid for a double room, there was only 1 full size bed. Double in this place means 2 people share one bed. The room is tiny and dingy. No iron in the room, you have to borrow one from the front desk. Need ice? No ice bucket or machine. You have to go to the front desk where they give you 2 large Styrofoam cups. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. They had no wash rags available, so they gave us 2 full size towels instead. Bathroom is small and dirty. I didn't take off my shoes the whole time I was there (shower and all). Luckily I didn't see any bugs.
If you want something cheap and located in a good spot, go for it. However I suggest you love yourself more and pay the extra cash for a real hotel. So glad I didn't have to sleep there.

Worst hotel I've ever been too. Washrooms are nasty af. There's crumbs and things all over the floors, and everything looks so nasty. Its so bad that I haven't showered since I got here. My roommate had to shower with his shoes on. A guest puked outside my door, so I asked one of the workers to clean it up as it started to smell. I come back 4 hours later and the puke is still there. So now the whole floor smells like vomit and no one seems to care. Also the free breakfast is just bread and the coffee taste like water. When I initially first walked into this hotel, I was confused. I didn't know if it was a hotel or a crack house/brothel.

Hotel is old and it shows. From the lack of repair (restroom doors do not only not lock but the hardware isn't even there), asked for pillows and never recieved, asked for towels and a few hours later went looking for a maid and found some. The help up front were really nice though. The hotel is in a nice location next door to the Israeli consulate and downtown Miami and 30 min walk to the port of Miami. It was great to have a central place to come back to. I would be gracious with giving then a half star out of five though. I was afraid to put my bare feet on carpet, the hotel smells, they wrapped up breakfast about 15 minutes early.
