I chose to stay here mainly of its superb location and from my past nice stay in the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, San Antonio TX. Indeed, this property here meet my expectation. The IHG app provided an easy way to indicate my stay preference. I was glad to check in the room early and room was upgraded with nice distance view of the pier . Thanks to Ms Mayling at the front desk for her efficiency services.

Reserved for two nights prior to a cruise in mid Dec. The outside temp on our first night was 54 degrees. Upon entering our room the temp inside the room was 47 degrees. After 30 min
of trying to turn the heat on with no luck I went to the front desk for help and was informed that the hotel has NO HEAT IN ANY ROOMS. The explanation was "This is S. Florida and it never gets cold here". Maybe it's me but 47 degrees in a $250.00 per night hotel is a little ridiculous. On the plus side i was offered a free breakfast for 1 person for my inconvenience. Not both of us ,just one Holiday Inn has lost my 40 years of loyalty to them..

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Stayed after a cruise. Showed up at 845 am, had the room just after 11. The staff was friendly and accommodating while we waited. Food was good in the restaurant. Rooms are good, walls are a little thin. Overall a good stay.

Outside pool was very small and the water was very cold. 2 of the 3 elevators were not working for 2 days causing extremely long wait times. I had to go up and down 6 flights of stairs multiple times. Gym was very small. Lobby bar was nice. Had breakfast buffet there multiple times. Stay away from the eggs and OJ, they are awful. The rest of the food was good, especially the sausage and pineapple. Staff was helpful and nice. Room remote wouldn't allow me to change the volume or sound. Air conditioning in the room was clunking quite a bit. It did keep the room quite cold. I also got a room next to an extremely loud couple who were fighting. I had a view facing Biscayne and the bay and it was extremely satisfying.

Great location and nice hotel. Bed and pillows very comfortable and the room provided all the basics needed for a business trip. Would certainly return.

I stayed at this hotel while in Miami attending a concert. Even though the hotel is in a great location seeing as it is across the street from the arena, my stay was not great. The City is doing construction and blocked the hotel's valet parking area so the hotel had the valet at the front of the hotel on Biscayne Blvd. The valet attendants ask you to leave your car in the road (where heavy traffic is passing by) and they will park your car. You have to pay $27 for parking (this fee is added to your hotel bill). When we checked out, we were told by the valet attendant that they were fined by the City and was no longer able to do valet parking. They handed us our keys and a map to where our car was parked. The hotel guest service would not refund us the valet fee. I eventually received the refund after calling the corporate office about this.

We asked for a late check-out (1:00 p.m.) but the next morning we were woken up around 8:30 a.m. by hammering and sawing. The hotel was renovating the room directly across from our room. We called guest service to complain about the loud noise and they said that they would tell maintenance to keep in down. Which they never did. We asked the guest service to give us some kind of accommodation for this. After a VERY long discussion with the manager, they agreed to give us a $30 discount on our bill (which we have yet to see credit back on our card). I was very disappointed with this hotel and will most likely never stay here again. Their customer service is very unprofessional.

This place was great for the central location and the price I paid. There is a lot of construction immediately next door. Parking is expensive. And the room had no fridge or microwave. Could use better maintenance but was comfortable overall. Mall across the street has everything you need.

Not the most modern hotel, but reasonably clean and superb price-location value. Just avoid the overpriced bar and restaurant, and head across the street to the Bayside mall and food court where you can get great deals on local drinks and food.

For those who book through an agent, be aware that the breakfast deal had changed from a dollar based voucher to two hot breakfast vouchers per room. If you're traveling with teenagers, you will need to buy them breakfast (it cost us over $30 for a 'continental breakfast' for our two!)

A better bet is to get room only, then pop round the corner (2 minute walk) to the Starbucks

The room view was beautiful. All in all it was a nice room but the room didn't seem to be vacuumed around the edges of the room. You could see the dirt. The phone didn't work in the room. We tried to order room service bit could not. Walked down to order and the people at the restaurant did not seem to understand or care to. The woman at the front desk was great. She helped our needs and worked with us.

The people here were very friendly and helpful. However I didnt like parts of the hotel. There is no place to park your car. You have to pay $32 for valet parking. My room was all the way down the all on the second floor. The hallway shifted making my room looked tucked away, like a last option kind of feeling. The room was tinny and cramped. The bathroom floor wasn't level with the rest of the room. There was an inch and a half lift, making it easy for me to stub my toe. The a.c. didn't even work, making the room very warm. For the price I paid, I would not stay here again of that's what I'm going to get.

The customer service at this hotel is good. I've come here a few times already and by now I have a report with the staff that makes it all the better.

I like the fact that one is able to make requests that are readily accommodated.

Good customer service very accommodating. Clean rooms. Beautiful view of Biscayne Bay, I'm sure you can ask for a bay view room on a upper floor. Pool is ok, never got in however but there are lounge chairs to lay on. There is a restaurant in the hotel make sure you get the breakfast with the reservation or it will cost you a lot more. Food is very good, however one hostess does not speak English very well and doesn't understand it at all. All in all a good hotel.
