Wedding party was up late. It was disturbing to other guests. AC in room stopped working, found out the AC remote needed batteries! The area is beautiful and the food was good. Floyd was a great waiter. Beds were just okay. I don't mean to turn people away from this place, it has charm and history.

Great Lil Town Great location. Staff was very nice Rooms were very small but its an old place so acceptable. Bed squeaked every time I moved. Kreaked every time u changed your mind. Not cool. Otherwise nice place.

It was a nice historic place to stay. The buildings are old and the property has a plantation feel. The room was clean. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast isn't included but I enjoyed eating on the porch at the main house. The only downside is with the older building is the walls are not as sound proof as modern hotels and the bed in my room wasn't the most comfortable thing I've slept in. The over all stay was nice.

Had my wedding here in 2011. The site is great for that. The family that stayed there said the rooms and service were good as well. You do NOT have to privately hire to Inn's coordinator as your wedding coordinator in order to get the same services you need booked for your event. I did and I could have saved my money.

A beautiful charming historic inn. Historic feel well maintained. Great location on Lake Dora with great sunset views. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will return soon.

Stayed 2 weekend nights. Nicely refurbished room. Excellent housekeeping and service. All staff were courteous and helpful. Live music both nights. No elevator. No wifi in your room. It's part of the ambiance. Currently updating bathrooms for 1st floor main house, so bathrooms were limited for bar and lobby area. Will plan to return.

Couldn't give 5 stars. Front desk gave us no info on hotel or area, so expected some literature in room. Nope. Had to ask next day at front desk, did ask the night before, clerk was oblivious. Would have been nice to have upon check in, since they had a Ghost tour that night, would have gone. Also no remote for the TV, did bring one about 30 minutes after notified. Room clean, enjoyed lounge and pool. Their restaurant great. Would stay again.stayed here in the 1990's, it has changed for the better, except for front desk service upon check in.

This is the most heavenly place on earth. The rooms are clean and a/c works well. The rich history behind Lakeside Inn, the perfectly manicured grounds and convivial staff make this the best place in earth for a sophisticated and relaxing vacation. Even in the rain this place is a Shangri-la.

Beautiful location on the lake. Comfortable large rooms. Great pool area to swim and suntan. Drinking at the old classic bar in the main house was a fun time.

Great hotel and location. BUT, be prepared. Their wifi is one of the worst I've ever seen. They might as well not even have it because it is seriously awful. And to make matters even worse, reception for AT&T in the entire town is basically non-existent.

So if you have to do any work while in town or at the hotel, and you have AT&T, you're pretty much screwed.

What can you say, the hotel is beautiful, and in the perfect location. I can see why it would be so popular for many venues. It was a great atmosphere. My only caveat was that the rooms were pretty simple (but clean), even that seemed to give it a certain charm, though. It was a great stay.
