The resort amenities are undergoing major renovations. Soon all bath and shower rooms will be like brand new. The pool is great. Water is heated. Plenty of chairs and tables with umbrellas.
Snack shack is open on the weekends. The staff is fantastic and very promptly took care of our needs. The only disappointment was the cabin we rented. It is dated and tacky. It was quite expensive for what we got. The kitchen and housekeeping supplies were lacking big time. Bedding would have been fine, except the pillows were terrible.
If you have an RV this is a great place to stay. Next door to Old Town and plenty of shopping, food. And more.

Meh! Nothing special about this place but it is close to Disney. Roads where tight and narrow. Security guard lets anyone through at night so wonder what’s the point. It’s is clean, and they keep everything well painted including the curbs. Didn’t use any of the amenities.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Have stayed here many times and always enjoyed it - this time not so much. They moved our reservation from an area that was less busy to what they called an “elite” site but then we were in a busier section and we, along with everyone else has to listen to our dogs bark at every thing all weekend. Last straw was they called to ask if we would pay in full ahead of arrival it would avoid the crowd at check in (it was thanksgiving weekend) so we did. Out of courtesy and general pleasantry we paid to help them out. Then when checking out we realized they didn’t give us our full discount. He office said to call the 800 number then the 800 number said to call the office. What a run around!!! They have refused to refund me the $ off our next reservation which is New Years Eve!!! I wasn’t even asking for cash back that was due - just credit our next reservation. May be a nice park but after experiencing their customer service - we will never return!!! We are in a number of large camping and RV groups - we will be sure they all are made aware

Lovely, quiet escape for sleeping after a long day at the parks. Perfectly sized little chalet for two people with all the required amenities. Great location for getting to Disney or Universal, and further afield if desired.

BED BUGS!!
My daughter was all bit up!!! Lots of roaches too. Too bad considering the place has a nice set up. No compensation for the bed bug issues. Not happy. Manager Carmen not overly nice. Take your chances!!

So, my husband has been coming to Tropical palms since he was 11 years old he is now 29. I have been coming the past 8 years every year. Witching every year the past 2 years it has gotten worse and worse. We decided to take our first family vacation here with our kids, we invited friends and their kids to come along. When making the reservation I specifically told the person on the other end (spoke directly to staff booking not a 3rd party) what I needed in a cottage. When we made it here the cottage would not accommodate our needs it was too small, I asked if another was available they found one, of course we had to up grade for $250 more. When we made it to the new cottage our kids were in the loft, they came down and had fleas all over them, we moved cottages again. This cottage the couch was horrible could barley sit in it, it was like we're sitting inside the couch. The sugar ants were horrible and we had no food out ( we couldn't due to the ants). Then we seen in the pamphlet they give you at registration and it said the drinks were 2 for $5 all day everyday, so we went to the cafe and it was not so! They said when I asked I must have read it wrong or I got an old pamphlet. The cottages have changed and we loved coming here, they are more money now and not worth it! They say they are updating but don't charge us the upgraded fee for the cottages that are not updated yet. We will have to rethink our vacation spot.

We loved where we stayed. We were in the back. We had Electric / Water Hookups. Did not have Sewer - But a dump is available if needed. Lots of space around our lot. Went down to pool and into the little restaurant/bar area. Great drinks - Great food and Good prices. We are going back again next month for another week trip. Love this place. A short walk to Old Towne and just minutes away from Disney.

Campgrounds are always clean and mini sites. Rented a cabin on Easter weekend and because reservations were done late paid maximum price for a average cabin. All in all had a great time period if you have children they offer many events for them fun for the family

We stayed last night. I Was NOT HAPPY with our stay. We checked in at 10:00. The man at the guard shack didn't even ask for id. Then we get to our room and the couch was half open, stove was pulled out and the half the blinds were missing at the door. So anyone can look at us while we are sleeping and everything. I have kids and I don't was a perv looking at them while they are sleeping. So NOT worth $122 dollars a night!!! When I checked out the lady just wrote down what was wrong and didn't say a manager would get back with me or anyhing!!!

Great campground cute cabins soooo very close to Disney. The loft in the cabin we stayed in was pretty high up, I was a little nervous letting my kids sleep up there but luckily I convinced them to sleep on the pull-out instead. We would definitely stay at this resort again if the chance comes up.

RUDE and LIED to .
I contacted Tropical Palms eight days prior to my arrival to discuss possible cancelling, due to a family member taking ill. The woman who answered the phone informed me that I did not have to make a decision at that moment. She said, I had forty eight hours to cancel prior to my arrival, and that I would be charged $25.00. So with that information, I decided to wait until I returned home to see personally the health of my mother-in-law. I called two days later to be told I did not have a reservation and that they would call me back. Three hours later, I received a call and was told that I was out of the $25.00 charge window, and that I would be charged my deposit. I told the person on the phone, once again, that I spoke to a woman in regards to cancelling. I asked to speak to the "Manager" in hopes that he or she would do the right thing. I was told "NO" and that the "MANAGER" told her (her being a rude, very disrespectful unprofessional) to relay the message to me! Since when does someone of "AUTHORITY" not take control of a situation. VACATIONERS BEWARE!!!

The grounds are quite pretty around the lagoon. We drove out of our way to stay here again despite problems last year. Last year they put us in an awful site and we requested a change. They offered us a Lagoon view but it was with an up charge. We accepted. While here, the water was off for 2 days! Broken water main. OK stuff happens. This past summer, I made a reservation for here again and requested and was promised a Lagoon view. When we arrived, we were told our site was given to someone else who booked a longer stay. We were parked on the edge of the park directly in front of a dumpster. "Dumpster view". My wife went up the next morning and spoke to a very nice girl, explained the situation, and requested a move. She attempted to move us to a site on the Lagoon. My wife walked to the site and someone was in it. They didn't even know there was a squatter. They gave us another site on the Lagoon. Second day here. Water went off again!!!! We are told it is another water main break. Horrible experience.
