i am so disappointed with Lakeland Toyota. i have been a repeat customer for 4 years. i have had success with Lakeland Toyota until my very last time which was this past Saturday 12/23/17. the finance managers there are a joke and yes the heavily lie on their prices that you see online and give you an excuse that is how we draw people to come in and buy. they have managed to ruin my credit with the amount of hard inquires which is 30 times in the last 30 days. i am not wealthy but i make pretty good money to afford 2 cars and Lakeland Toyota thinks otherwise. well i am now a happy customer from Miracle Toyota. i would strongly suggest coming from a repeat customer like myself to either shop at Tampa Bay Toyota, Mircale Toyota, or any other Toyota dealership besides Lakeland Toyota. they will find away to screw you or put you in something you don't want.

I went in to purchase a Toyota tundra that was advertised at $35,000. I understood that there may be a few additional fees. However when I arrived the truck that had been advertised as certified was actually not certified, but instead, was able to be certified for $500. In addition the dealer wanted to charge me another $1400 for what they call a reconditioning fee on a truck that was less than one-year-old! Furthermore they had a $700 dealer fee. And if I was not willing to trade in my vehicle or finance there was an additional $2000 in fees. The $35,000 truck in the end would’ve totaled over $40,000 with their additional fees certifications and other upsell‘s. Any dealer that tries to charge a reconditioning fee in my mind is completely unethical. I would recommend running from a dealer like this. To make matters even worse when they brought out their general manager he tried to justify these fees and could not. They actually stated to me that the only way they can get business from people like me that are out of town is to advertise what they consider a wholesale price and then Add charges when we arrive. To make matters even worse, they took the paperwork back and tried to come back to me with a lower price on the vehicle but then added an additional fee in their dealer fee area. They were hoping I wouldn’t see it and when I did I respectfully walked away. I went to Tampa Bay Toyota who treated me fair and give me the price that they advertised on the Internet.

It wouldn't let me give Lakeland Toyota no stars even though that's what the service department deserves. I keep telling myself it was just a busy day but every time I get an oil change I call and make an appointment. Why? It's beyond me seeing how they just have you wait two hours for a simple oil change. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of Lakeland Toyota.

Ben made buying our new car a great experience. We felt like we knew him by the time we left. He really worked with us and we really enjoyed his sense of humor. If you want to buy a car without the stress, go see Ben. He really is great. Also, Michelle, who did our title work is very friendly and efficient will get you out and driving as soon as possible.

I've been a customer there for about 3 years. Rita does a really good customer service by phone with amazing deals and Tony is extremely helpful anytime as sales person. I truly recommend this place.
I trade my old car for a Rav4 last week. It's an amazing car. I love it. Tony Pearson and John they're both gave a me great deal. Both went really personable as a sales representatives person. Also I didn't spent to much time in a dealership wish it was awesome.response / report this review -

Ben Kirkpatrick is phenomenal. This is our 3rd car with Lakeland Toyota and Ben this year. No non-sense experience. I highly recommend Ben and the Lakeland Toyota staff. Service with Craig Jennings is always first class as well. Henson Montes made the dreadful paperwork a breeze as well. Thank you Ben and Lakeland Toyota team.

I took a trip to Lakeland Toyota to purchase a new 2017 Tacoma and I'm sure glad I did. It was a great experience. My salesman Felipe was knowledgeable and showed excellent customer service. Everyone I had interactions with all showed a friendly and genuine desire to make the process enjoyable without ever making me feel pressured to buy. My salesman Felipe, Richard in Finance, and Rob the GM are all a credit to Toyota. I recommend anyone looking to buy a new vehicle head to Lakeland Toyota.

The Sales Manager Manny call me to make an appointment he made sure I was well taking care of. He introduce me to Ana Santiago the sales person. She was very patient with me and my 5 children she offer us water, she made sure she was taking good care of me while we got these deal done. He made the time go fast. The financial manger was really great to me he keep my 5 year old busy while we where doing paper work! Over all had a great experience at the Lakeland Toyota. I will recommend it to all my family and friend. I will definitely buy my future vehicle here. Love Lakeland Toyota Great people to do business with!

Lakeland Toyota, I have to say was just phenomenal in making my car buying experience a truly exceptional one. My salesperson, Mr. James Rosier, had great knowledge of the vehicles that would best fit my budget and personality.
The facilities where clean and inviting. Over all the atmosphere flowed in a charismatic professional way.
I am very happy, not only with my Camry, but the service I continue to receive with my follow up service appointments that the website allows me to book online. I find this option is very helpful for my lifestyle.

My salesperson was James Rosier. I have to say he really knew the inventory of his dealership. I told him what my budget was and he had a car already waiting for me upon arrival. That was impressive! This is the third car I have purchased at Lakeland Toyota- all three from James. Every time I come back, he makes me feel like I am the only person in the whole showroom! VIP-as he calls it! 😁
So if you decide to drive a Toyota, come out to Lakeland, and ask for James! I am sure he will work his magic for you and your family as well!response / report this review -

My overall experience at Toyota Lakeland was amazing! Great environment, and very attentive staff. Michelle Jones was my sales lady. She was absolutely incredible! I was in a very upside down situation with the vehicle I was in, and she spent so much time helping me figure out all of my options! She knew from the beginning I wasn't able to guarantee a deal with her, but that didn't keep her from spending time with me and showing that she truly cared. She even contacted me days after I had left the dealership to explain more possible options given my DIFFICULT situation. It was so nice that even though Michelle knew she couldn't make a deal with me, she still went above and beyond to help me. I am now out of my ugly situation(and my old car) and I wouldn't have been if it wasn't for Michelle's amazing and caring customer service!
