This place is in the back off the main street. It's quiet and comfortable and the children will loved the outdoor swimming pool.

So we started coming here months ago for business and Tony the gm was beyond accommodating. He has given me a great rate whenever we come and now during total renovations, I get a room that is completely redone and absolutely beautiful. The front desk person was sweet and wonderful and very helpful. I had a gift bag in my room with crackers, cookies and candy along with waters. I am a travel agent and go to over 70 hotels a year for both business and pleasure. This experience on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 12, as always. Thank you Tony.

Hotel needs a good cleaning and updating, very dirty. But the staff was amazing, kind, very attentive and the General Manager Tony Gammon was amazing. We were evacuated from Homestead, Florida because of hurricane Irma and checked in the night before she made landfall and stayed throughout the hurricane. Tony and his crew were amazing throughout the whole ordeal even after the hotel lost power for about nine hours. He made sure the lobby had cold water and beverages and kept the Continental breakfast full and extended the whole day. He was out in the lobby greeting all guests and keeping everybody calm and safe. Can't say enough how amazing and compassionate of a person he was and how he kept his cool and professionalism the whole time considering the circumstance he was working under (Hurricane Irma). Thank you Tony Gammon for everything.

I stayed here two sperate nights in a row with the second night was a bit unexpected and as a result I was moved to a different room. Hotel is clean and staff are nice. The second room I moved into had some sort of water damage to the floor so there was a horrible smell. The planes that fly overhead can likely annoy some but was fine by me. Ok for a short stay but would look elsewhere first.

I booked a reservation for a non-smoking room, and the room assigned to us smelled like smoke and mildew. Like if that was not bad enough, to make it worst, we found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. We changed rooms, and the other room smelled better, but it had mildew in the tub and in the curtain shower. Overall, our experience was not good at all.

The room wasn't vacuumed. Walk down the halls and you can see stains on all the carpets. The edges of the carpets were black with dirt. Nasty hotel looks ok till ypu take a good look and see how old the carpets and furniture are

It's a nice, clean hotel, we are here for 3 days before our cruise. Good breakfast with waffles, eggs, cereal, yogurt, pastries, fruits, juice, milk, coffee, bread. It's a nice budget hotel, conveniently located near restaurants and a nice park.

I’ve been staying at LQ’s for 25 years including a dozen years or more as an elite member. I will admit they have a great point system compared to other brands especially when you’re doing travel for kid’s sports clubs, college, etc. Unfortunately, the quality of rooms and service has significantly changed over the years including this property.

The breaking point was showing up at this hotel and learning my reservation had been downgraded several hours before I arrived. I booked a 2-bedroom suite (original reservation not an upgrade request) however was given a standard room. The Front Desk person told me I booked the standard room until I showed her the reservation. LQ Elite folks told me someone at this hotel ‘bumped’ me from the suite a few hours before I checked in (3 pm). So where’s the GM? There was not a GM on property to discuss and LQ Elite was no help. And no phone call after the incident.

This was one of the first times I pulled out the phone and booked a Hilton hotel for my Miami stay. LQ has truly disappointed this business traveler and it’s a sign to move on to a brand with better quality and a greater interest in loyal members.

Very well located and clean. It's my first option every time I go to Miami. It's quite despite being close to the airport (sometimes you can hear take offs or landings but nothing that won't allow you to rest) Includes breakfast and free parking.

BEWARE OF COCKROACHES!! No not just palmetto bugs that flew inside from the first floornope. German cockroaches my friends. I was there for 90 minutes or so before I saw them. I read the reviews of the cockroaches before I went, but it was from a year ago and they assured me there are none and they have handled the problem. Why do they have cockroaches? Well look under the microwave or behind the bed or dresser. It hasn't been cleaned in many many years. The staff is very friendly, yes they gave me a refund immediately, but now I'm worried one crawled in my stuff. I went to the hotel next door. Very nice and clean thank god. This has the potential to be a nice place, but the owner needs to visit and buckle down on housekeeping and continuous spraying. I hope someday they do, but I will not be back.
