Upon arriving at the hotel we we're greeted by broken chairs, stained carpets and electricity that went out twice during our first day. The saving grace of the hotel is an incredibly attentive staff, and very curteous front desk receptionists.
This hotel needs a lot of maintenance, , rooms are clean but is definitely not a place to stay for vacation or bring family,is more for workers.
For over a hundred dollars a night this place is awful! We booked three nights here. The place is VERY run down. Everything in it appeared to be taken from someone's trash and reused here. Their advertised "free continental breakfast" is two pieces of dry white toast on a plate and coffee. The last day we were offered orange juice and had a choice of wheat or white bread. Good lord. Call a spade a spade. Toast and coffee is not a breakfast.
The advertised "free cruise shuttle" is also a joke. The cruise ships get in early and you are disembarked by 9:30 to 10 am but they won't come get you until nearly noon so we paid for a cab to come and get us.
There was one very unfriendly front desk guy but the other two were nice. Javier was amazing. He was the ONLY reason I gave this place one star. Their shuttle driver doesn't say one word. This place is in a safe area close shops. It could be a real gem if the owner would actually take care of the place.
Less than helpful staff members. Especially the shuttle bus driver. Needs some love and updates.
Really Bad! No A.c. in upstairs hallway. Elevator was hot as well. Our room was so bad. It was filthy and falling apart. There were stains on the carpet, walls and bed. The bathroom shower was horrible. The hot water went from warm to cold constantly and the tub was clogged so it would not drain. The room smelled like Fabuloso so you thought it was clean. Nothing stayed plugged into the outlets and the lighting was bad. Behind the beds look like they had not been cleaned in years. It was old, dirty and stains everywhere. We had an event that we had to be at close by within an hour of checking in. If not for this we would have left and never stayed.
The rooms were huge! Way bigger then they look online. The housekeeping was awesome and they work through the day in case you want a late cleaning. The front desk staff was very accommodating when negotiating a price reduction due to Hurricane Irma!!!
Food need to have caribbean dishes house keeping need to be better some of the boss need to speak to the staf better if i was spending my money to stay i would not use that hotel
The food at Mylos was good, although the Gyro was not authentic "loaf Gyro meat and lettuce?"
I always eat at their greek restaurant, so good. Staying here after Hurricane Irma with my two little dogs. Such nice staff, they didn't even ask for a credit card to reserve the room during such a horrendous situation. Beyond greatful. Love this hotel.
A/C changed temperature too often and the room was really uncomfortable. The food is unhealthy and doesn't taste good at all. Only bright side is the lovely mannered staff.
I literally only spent 4 hours at this hotel, but the room was big, the bed was comfy, and it was pretty inexpensive for the area.
This hotel needs to be updated. I was extremely disappointed in the Continental breakfast that was included with my stay. The room was a great size with comfortable mattress. Location was great with nearby restaurants.
Excellent and exquisite customer service. Mr Grillas (General Manager) and his team were very attentive and professional in our stay at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the airport. Thanks again Chateaubleau Hotel!
Recent stay here, and the we were met with a gracious front desk clerk. Hotel from the outside could use some upgrading. Inside - lobby and restaurant are very nice. Our room, was old décor, furniture was old and damaged, bathroom cabinets were rusted. New TV with Direct TV was a plus. Bed -very uncomfortable. Overall, not worth the $139 + tax. Will not stay here again.
