Good place. Front desk really nice. Directed me to a few places for dinner. Good recommendations. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Stayed for a day. The amenities were great - free internet, breakfast, and dogs welcome. It was relatively quiet and peaceful, and I had a nice rest.
Rooms are very clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good period Texas shaped waffles, eggs, sausage and fresh fruit. I was here during a music festival here in Austin where most people came in a little after 2 and I do have to say it was a little disturbing but I do understand. Housekeeping was on point Who's supplying me with extra towels.
I stay here a lot when I visit Austin, great hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, very spacious, great reception. Hot tub is no longer there. This location is a good quality building, walls are thick, never had a problem with noise from another room, unlike a few other La Quintas in Austin, where I've had trouble getting to sleep because the neighbor was playing their tv loud & I could hear it. This is the only La Quinta I've stayed in, so far, where they actually serve fresh cut fruit, (pineapple, grapefruit, orange) instead of just standard apples and bananas, love that 👍👍. Located in nice area. I really like La Quinta in general. Nice, late 12pm checkout time is SO awesome, really makes the stay much more pleasant.
A pleasant stay. The staff was quick and very friendly upon my arrival and have me a choice of available rooms. The room was a good size and comfortable. Extra plugs for chargers at the bedside would have been nice. The room and washroom were clean and neat although they could update the showerheads to have a bit more pressure. Overall the value for the money was just fine.
If you're just here for a night it's decent. For a longer stay it's a little lacking. Breakfast offered does have a hot tray, though very small. Internet is fine, but not strong enough for anything heavy duty (no online gaming) The biggest let down is the restroom. While spacious it is lacking in quality. It uses the roughest toilet paper I've ever had, and the provided soap is the standard bad soap, dries out your skin so bad you might as well not even wash. I had to go by actual soap it's that bad. On top of that the drain in the shower is either bad or clogged as it was gaining water every time I showered. In short, I would not stay here for an extended period.
5 HUGE stars! The place is a little older but well upgraded and CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN! But that's not what really impressed me. I spent 15 years in the service industry. I have never seen a place where each and every staff member I encountered went well above and beyond to accommodate our every need with a very friendly and kind attitude. I can't recommend this place enough. A very sincere THANK YOU from this family who had to evacuate due to Harvey. Y'all helped make a very stressful situation for us SO much better.
Decent location within the city. GPS is helpful to find the hotel. Noisy hallway in the room. Standard Continental breakfast. 3 star hotel with 3 star amenities. On the plus side it's cheap. Be aware though that they charge you for your full stay upon check-in.
Very large and comfortable rooms but it deserves a refurbishment. Nice and friendly staff. No hotel restaurant and totally horrible "spring" breakfasts with all filled with tons of sugar. No ham, no eggs. Well, there are at least boiled eggs but dumped in ice. It's impossible to eat the same trash every day for a week or two. Although the breakfast is for free (even worse because then I get a per-diem allowance reduction) I prefer to go outside in the morning. The only reason I still stay here is that it's close to our Austin office and it's easy to get there from the hotel in the morning traffic. Please offer standard continental breakfast and give me better reason to be here next time.
Rooms were very clean, smoke free, roomy, nice comfy beds, but bring your own pillows. Breakfast was good, I do love those waffles! Friendly staff
It was good, nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Location is a little hard to get to but just pay attention to GPS. Would definitely go again.
The location is very close to the event we atteded. We needed an extended stay and they were able to provide even with being booked up. The breakfast is great and the appearance itself is very nice.
At time of check in wasn't told about any hot water but fix it . Toilet wasn't working properly so had to fix it every time so we could flush. Had to run down the maid for clean towels, also took my own trash out for two days didn't get beds made while we were out. This will be the first and last visit cause I've stayed at better hotels for cheaper. Probably should of put in an application for second job during my stay. Only good was it was in the area close to all activities.
I had a wonderful experience at this location in Austin. The people were friendly the rooms was spacious and clean. I had a room with two queen beds that did not come with a refrigerator. When I asked if I could have one they immediately brought one and a microwave to my room. There was a man there his name was Maurice who could not have been sweeter. He gave us bottled water, flavored water bottles, and snacks for our room. He was friendly and was always asking me if there was anything I needed. The breakfast each morning is free and very good. I would highly recommend this location.
