Reserved a king plus room a MONTH in advance on the hotel site, not a 3rd party site. Informed at check-in that all they had were doubles. Otherwise clean and nice room. Will stay elsewhere next time at a hotel that honors their reservations.

This hotel has BED BUGS. Management will blame you as the guest for bringing them and then subsequently kick you out while telling you to keep quiet and not cause a scene. They will offer no sort of reimbursement or pay for your added expense to get rid of the BED BUGS from your belongings. Many other great hotels in the area that offer much better customer service and no bed bugs.

Great experience! Friendly night and morning staff. Room new, clean, and comfortable. Fridge and microwave along with a large desk. Perfect for an airport stay and a great value.

Great location near the airport and freeway. The rooms were nice, clean. I stayed for 5 days, the hotel staff at the front desk were really friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Breakfast was average but everything else more than made up for it. Big thanks to the staff.

They did a great job with the renovation! Place looks great, rooms were clean, functional, and had the right amenities. Plenty of outlets to charge all your gadgets, and honestly some of the fastest WiFi in any hotel I've stayed at. Breakfast is also solid.

    Pleasantly surprised!

Firstly, if there was a zero star rating , I would give it.This place is terrible and understand they are going through renovations. The room we got was nice. I had an event to go to and asked the staff to check my refrigerator and microwave as they were without power and I could have possibly had some food to bring back. When we got home neither one had power and a Do Not Disturb sign was on my door..which we didn't put there. The continental breakfast was a jokethe hard boiled eggs were gross and when we opened them up the looked like they had been sitting out for awhile. The only things my family moderately liked were the muffins and the Texas waffle. When I checked out the staff asked me half-heartedly how my stay was and the look i gave told allthe lady seemed to take notes but her body language told it all.she had seen this before and expected it.

If there were a negative star - that would be my choice. The hotel is undergoing a renovation. Based on my room's location in the second building, in order to get ice, I had to go down to the second floor. Then walk through areas that made me think I was about to be murdered. To the elevator in the OTHER building to go to the first floor to poke around and find ice. Don't get me started about the odor in the room - wasting expensive perfume to cover since I can't find another room close by. I'm well and truly stuck. Believe me - La Quinta, as a whole has lost my business. To spend $148.35 for a sub-standard, stinky room is deplorable. Wish I had read reviews before booking - believe me, I would have chosen more wisely. Just hoping the A/C holds out while it's a bit warm out - set on 67 and its, okay. Was set on 68 when I arrived and hot as heck. Should have run then! *Edited to add - traffic/truck noise is insane! Of course, right off the highway so shame on me.

The room was pretty clean but a couple things had been overlooked. There was food left in the fridge from the previous guests and the corners hadn't been vacuumed well. That wasn't a hotel problem, that was a particular person problem. When I told the front desk they were very apologetic and assured it would be taken care of. The shuttle was effecient and timely and all the staff I talked with were friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would stay again myself.

Room was just ok. Everything about the hotel is dated. Comforter had a big stain on it and box spring was so old that what was once white was now yellow. This hotel seems to be very popular with traveling construction workers. Most of the lot was taken up by pick up trucks owned by contractors.

It wins a star for being so close to the airport. The location of the hotel is pretty ugly. As in don't walk out of the hotel area without a weapon at night ugly. I stayed here because there was an online promotion for 60 bucks a night. Don't pay more than that to stay here.

They are remolding right now. It is an inconvenient situation at times with the construction, but the staff is very accommodating and it is nice doing business with them. The old rooms are typical for the time period. The newly renovated rooms are pleasant and comfortable with complete updates in most rooms including walk in showers. The new beds are comfortable. If the remolding was completed, I would give more stars as they planned to have a greater gym facility and expanded hot breakfast included.
My only complaint, no in room safes, but available at the front desk, and the TV'S are mounted to the dresser instead of the wall like they used to be, making it lower and more difficult to comfortably watch TV from the bed. Close to the Airport and a short ride to downtown. Thanks La Quinta staff!

hotel is under construction at the time of the review. Door locks do not open properly.
on the bright side, check out is at noon.
No discounts for travel agents. Can't use points on a Friday or Saturday stay.

Great staff, clean rooms. There was a ton of construction going on but the room was clean and nice. Prices were good and it is very close to the airport. Also, they have a shuttle available to go to and from the airport.

Great hotel near the airport. The room is a standard hotel room with a comfortable bed. The WiFi is very fast and reliable. The breakfast was decent and I especially liked the Texas shaped waffle makers. The hot tub is nice to relax in. They have a free shuttle to the airport that runs very early in the morning to help make early morning flights, which is useful for me. Getting to and from downtown is expensive to do by taxi or ride-sharing, however if you can figure out the bus system then you can buy a $2.50 day pass. I suggest taking the 350 to the airport and then the 100 downtown so that the bus will be populated with other travelers.

It was close the the airport. The outside is pretty. The inside is slightly updated but some things are really old, like the elevator. Our room door stuck. I requested a crib for my 4 month old when I made a reservation. When I checked in the lady said "do you still need a crib?" I said yes Buuuuut never got a crib. Our check out guy apologized and gave us extra points. It's within walking distance to Denny's.

Decent place. Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend and never had any problems. Even when I unknowingly wiped our key card with the magnet on my wallet, they were still helpful and courteous. The pool was clean. The room was good, nothing super fancy.
